This place was amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful. The menu, although small, was varied and delicious.
Read moreOne of our party ordered two starters instead of a main meal, the other two each ordered a different main. We then ordered the cheese duo and the cafe gourmand for dessert. So we tried most of the menu! All the food was very well presented.

Thank you Dis Leur for a wonderful dinner. As a travelling vegetarian it is often difficult to find vegetarian food but the staff here were helpful and friendly and the food was amazing.

Delicious food served beautifully. The team have clearly experimented carefully to craft a lovely little menu from fresh, local produce. Friendly staff, comfortable and attractive interior design. Not cheap-cheap, but middle price range and worth it.

We had the choice of 2 options for the lunch specials and ordered both. All organic, locally sourced and freshly made French dishes. You can see the chef in the kitchen preparing your food. Really delicious food with a French touch. Friendly staff and a nice vibe. Would love to come again. #Veganuary

I had a seitan bourguignon which was really good even tho I was disapointed in the seitan texture which didn't have the texture i'm used to (and which I really like). It's really nice to eat in a restaurant which serves traditionnel french food tho !

Dis Leur was the best surprise of our trip to Bordeaux. The place is very cute, even downstairs, the staff is super friendly and they offers good tapas and craft beers! I enjoyed a lot my dinner (a big tapas platter ful of flavors) and wish I could come back again soon. Definitely one of my favorite places in Bordeaux!

Fantastic vegan bistro. The food was very good, we had the tapas plate and then the dessert plate. The tapas had house fries, tempura, a red bean dip with chips and other yummy stuff. As an extra, when you order the tapas plate you get some crusty seitan, very tasty. The desserts included the Bordeaux speciality of caneles (a vegan version obviously) and other lovely items. There is wine and beer available, all vegan.

We ate at this sweet little bistro twice on our short stay, we loved it so much. The plate to share was a really nice light dinner and may I just say the cheese is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I have not eaten cheese tasting vegan cheese in so many years by choice. But this really made me so happy. I was told it’s made of cashews, but all other processes are as with regular brie etc., hence the similarity in taste. If you love cheese, but choose not to eat it for ethical/health reasons, I highly recommend treating yourself to a cheese platter.

Really tasty tapas food, big portions, and great local beers. Their wine menu also looked excellent, I’ll have to come back. The staff was lovely and very helpful. Great value overall. It’s a must try if you’re visiting Bordeaux.

Another great vegan option in BDX - Edit
We went for dinner (tapas and cheese board) on the Thursday while visiting Bordeaux and the food was so good and the staff welcoming that we reserved for Saturday lunch straight away. Everything is vegan down to the wine list, food is mostly local and organic, and they create an interesting world menu in a traditional French restaurant, fully recommended!

Without a doubt this is the best vegan restaurant in Bordeaux: it’s a beautiful space, charming service and delicious food. The menu changes weekly and the 3 course lunch has 2 choices per course, evenings are homemade tapas. I have been several times and each time is perfect.
