Too pushy - Edit
Knowing that some nights were slow, I directed a local cultural group I am a part of to come here before one of our meetings at the local book shop. We aren't party people, just wanted to be social before getting down to some committee work.
Read moreWe arrived soon after opening, and we were the only people eating for about an hour. We had plates full, but we're told by the owner that it was really time for us to go because we were taking up too many of the tables. Looking around the small room, there were at least eight 2 seaters entirely empty, plus the whole bar. We canceled the 2nd round of drinks that we had just ordered, and all left for the very last time.
The wait staff was entirely capable and competent, we all wondered if the owner was trying to sabotage this person's tip for the evening.
Pros: A few vegetarian options

Great place! I highly recommend the smoked beet taco!!! Soooooo yummy! And for an extra 25 cents you can switch from corn to flour tortilla if you prefer!

Tasty tacos and enjoyable atmosphere - Edit
I greatly enjoyed my meal at Diego's. This restaurant offers tasty street-style tacos at a full-service restaurant in Uptown Kingston. My waitress was very friendly and helpful and offered some suggestions when I stated that I was a vegan. The restaurant's ambiance was pleasant. Among the extra-healthy options were a habañero hot sauce without sweetener and a lettuce leaf substitution for the usual tortilla. I was sorry to have missed this restaurant for so long.
