Notable but not perfect

As with many ice cream parlors, the fruit varieties here are vegan, but they are not consistently marked as such, e.g. not on the display. Also, the waffle cups are with cow's milk, except the "medium" size (weird, I know). But there are biodegradable disposable cups.

Unfortunately, they only feature one additional non-fruit vegan flavor: "nougat". But they have a solid corporate philosophy, e.g. they grow their own cocoa. So I'm not giving up hope that they'll get their vegan act together.

There's a vending machine in front of the store where you can buy small pots of ice cream even outside opening hours.

The taste is good and the portions are decent.

Apart from the store/café, they are involved in catering at private parties or company events in the area. At the Fulda Christmas market (December), they sell a tasty & warming vegan version of their signature dessert "Holy Crumble".
