Great community-forming café but few vegan options

It's a one-man operation with a single warm dish that begins vegan with animal products added afterwards if desired.

He also has numerous pastries, which are unfortunately not vegan. Being more of a cafébar than a restaurant, it would be great if there were vegan pastries.

The place is cozy and what really sets it apart are the music and event nights. There is a very diverse and welcoming community of regulars and this brings people together in a way that very few places do.

Pros: Cozy, Has created it's own community

Cons: No vegan pastries

No war, Drink coffee, Play guitar

Café Diba is my second living room, and hands-down my current number one happy place. The owner, Reza, is one of the most warm-hearted and open-minded people I know. Beautiful (usually) Jazz music is playing throughout the day. On many, but not all Wednesdays, half a dozen or so musicians meet at this place for the regular Gipsy Jazz Jam Session. Come on in and listen (free), bring your instrument and join in if you like! Café Diba offers a staple of newspapers, including the local standards Süddeutsche, AZ and TZ, but also - to my delight - the left leaning political taz and Junge Welt. Free unlimited WiFi provided by Freifunk München (ffmuc) helps me get some work done should I have to.

Pros: The nicest owner, Excellent coffee, Great quality everything

Cons: Small shop, unreliable hours, Time is not of the essence here
