Not so good

As some other places were closed on an (Easter) Sunday, we ended up here. Unfortunately, we only found the food okay. Some dishes / components were not clearly labeled vegan (e.g. the salad dressings) and the soy patty or the glass noodles were very dry. Some of the food tasted as if it had been sitting in the display for a while. The woman at the counter also seemed unfriendly. Maybe it was because she didn't speak English, but a smile would still be nice.

Great selection and lots of tasty soy

The food was already sitting a little, and cold-ish, but it was delicious. They also have a good selection of sprouts. It wasn't spicy at all for me and I paid 10€ for the plate, which was fair, I guess. For some items you pay extra.

Pros: Lots of options, Strong taste on most items, Lots of plant protein options

Cons: Food was cold, Some was sold out already

Regular visitor

I've been in love with this place for such a long time! Their food is so tasty! But as a vegan, be aware of what does and does not containes milk.

Nice food

I like the food. I took a little from everything, so it is a good way of trying different dishes.
Prizing is unclear. The food is weighed but for some dishes you pay extra, however it is not noted anywhere what is the extra price for which food.

Pros: Nice food, You can have a little from different dishes, Free water, tee

Cons: Unclear pricing (some dishes cost extra)

Tasty food

Quick option for lunch. Tasty food but some of the hot food was a little too cold.

Pros: Great variety, Quick when you’re on the go

Cons: Cold, Eating off metal trays

A life-style

Dhaba Beas is a staple in many Praguers' lives by now. It has tasty food and a large selection. But it is a learnt skill. Be careful not to over do it, it is very easy to be overwhelmed by the buffet options and end up paying a ridiculous amount. Stick to a few options and take just a little, you can always go for seconds.

My favorite (selected through years) combo: pad-thai noodles, sweet and sour soy chunks and Thai coconut curry. Potatoes taste great but weigh a lot.

Non-vegan food is labeled.

Had much better Indian food

Not that cheap and not that good either. Paid 330CZK for mediocre food and not sure it was weighted alright.

Pros: Free water

Cons: Additional cost for certain items, Can’t be sure that the scale is working right

Great Indian Food!

Very tasty buffet restaurant with Indian food.

You pay the food based on weight, so you can get a little bit from every dish and taste everything.

Pros: Lots of vegan/vegetarian options, Buffet/diner style restaurant , Deserts and drinks

Cons: Can be a bit pricey

Amazing

Excellents plats, cuisine épicée et variée. Les produits sont végétariens ou vegan et bien étiquetés. Toujours un plaisir d'y aller !

Great value Indian buffet pay by weight

Amazing value for money I never ate so much food because it was so cheap!! We went back twice during our trip as we loved it so much. Everything is vegetarian or vegan and labelled really clearly. They even had some vegan dessert options which was great! Really tasty and the staff were very nice.

Pros: SO CHEAP!!!!

Pay by weight Indian food

Enjoyed our food here as we could choose whatever we wanted to put on our plate and it meant that we could try a wide variety of Indian cuisine. Careful though as some things come at an extra charge (only 10 extra though for example ). We paid 8 Czech crowns each for a large meal where we both felt full and satisfied. Free water included at table which is also good. The waiters help you with explaining what is vegetarian and vegan etc.

Pros: Good veggie options , Good amount of seating , Cheap

Cons: Not the best service , Not a wine and dine place , Very simple eatery

Average meal

I was expecting better given the good reviews. There weren’t as many vegan options as I had hoped for in the hot food section and none of the salads were labeled regarding vegan/allergen status so I avoided them. I was surprised at how expensive it was compared to other restaurants in Prague where I have paid about the same for a dish that has been freshly prepared for me (rather than having food from a pre-made buffet). The food itself was not all that enjoyable. The staff were not very friendly or helpful. I would not plan to come back if there were any other vegetarian places open nearby (which there are at this stage). One thing the restaurant does have going for it is views of an impressive enormous moving sculpture of Kafka’s face if you manage to get a seat by the window.

Great buffet selection

I love this chain. Always fresh, great selection of Asian cuisine, but do watch out for dishes with milk or egg.

Good old Dhaba Beas

Wide range of different meals you can choose from. The menu is different every day and the meals are always very good for their price. Dhaba Beas is one of my favorite places to eat when I want a quick budget-friendly lunch.

vegetarian with vegan options

I like Dhaba buffet despite they sometimes add milk/cream to the meals where it is completely unnecessary (potatoe mash and so on). Sometimes it is unlcear what is vegan abnd what is not. The menu is being circulated and changed every day a little bit.
Salads and rice/noodles available every day.

Pros: discount an hour before the closure

Good Asian Indian food, vegan options marked

For lunch filled up our trays with a mix of Indian and Asian food and it was all quite enjoyable. Curries, spring rolls, sushi etc etc. Buffet style, Pay per weight, not expensive and enjoyable.

Pros: Enjoyable food, Lots of options, Good mix of food

Cons: Food gets cold while you wait in line, Food gets cold while you try to find a seat

Very nice

Food was tasty for me, my vegan mother and self-proclaimed omnivore aunty.
Staff was nice and were able to talk russian with my family and explain to them how self-service works.
Only reason one star gets removed is because the served sprouded Alfa-Alfa is dangerous and not a health food. Same goes for kombucha (wasnt offered thankfully).
Otherwise affordable, sale on late hours

Take Weigh Enjoy

No-fuss buffet style dining which is paid by weight. vegan and vegetarian items are well indicated, so there is no problem with accidentally consuming dairy/eggs.

good concept over all, nice window view of the kafka statue

decent food at good price

The food was pretty tasty, but nothing exceptional. Staff wasn't overly attentive or helpful, but the food was cheap and that's what we were going for! Paid about 105 crowns for a very filling plate of food. And whatever is still available during the last hour of opening is 40 percent off.

Pros: cheap, comfortable, bathrooms

Cons: unfriendly staff

food was fine, but service was lacking

I'd already eaten at another one of their locations, twice, and the food at this location was equally good, but the service left a lot to be desired.

There's an outdoor area in the back which is away from the street so I liked that.

Good choice for a quick and filling lunch

Decent Indian food served on traditional metal plates, large buffet with pay-by-weight system (some items e.g. samosas per piece). Reasonably priced if not the cheapest one in Prague. For some reason I was more satisfied with this Dhaba Beas than some of the other branches that I've been to. I thought the food was fresh and the place was peaceful.

Pros: good location, tasty food, wide selection of buffet dishes

Good buffet!

Really nice place with a big buffet that was almost all vegan. All things vegan was marked vegan. The staff couldn't speak english so we didn't know what the price was, but by pointing we figured out that the price was depending on the foods weight.
