Tasty vegan salads, clearly marked - Edit
Det Grønne Køkken is located within the Bryggen shopping centre. It is a large salad bar and we were happy to see that they offered several vegan salads. We decided to take some away to have later on our day trip, and we were spoilt for choice. There are several ready made salads such as bulgur, couscous, mushroom salad, pasta salad etc., but there is also a section of ingredients so you can mix your own (green salads, olives, pickles and so on). Everything was very fresh and we had a filling lunch. We liked it so much that we did the same thing a couple of days later.
Read moreThere are little signs showing all of the allergens so it was easy to see what was vegan.
They share the space with a thai take away. That one offered a few vegetarian dishes, but nothing vegan, so we did not bother.
There is a seating area as well which is quite nice.
