Desserts & books

A fully vegetarian restaurant specialises in desserts and savoury dishes.

The dessert selections are very unique, like they literally have an entire menu dedicated to durians! They also have desserts such as Watermelon Sago, Mango pudding, desserts with Oreos, desserts with green tea, desserts with durian, Fruity Herbal Jelly and so on. All their ice creams uses dairy and eggs.

What we had:
Soya Beancurd topped with a scoop of durian
It wasn’t originally vegan on the menu but the staff over there were happy to not add in the dairy. The beancurd was very bouncy but smooth as you sink a spoon into it.

Pulut Hitam with durian
Lesser durian compared to the beancurd and despite its odd combo of flavours, it actually taste good.

Braised tofu with rice
I can’t remember the name of this dish well but I do remember seeing the words 紅燒. The tofu, gravy and veggies taste good, and it goes well with the rice. Their Chinese savoury dishes are very vegan-friendly but do remember to clarify with the staff to check if eggs were used in any of the dishes.
