Hidden gem! - Edit
This is a nice hole in the wall restaurant attached to an Exxon gas station in downtown Frisco. They have tons of vegan options on their breakfast and lunch/dinner menus. The vegan options are clearly identified on the menu. I tried the vegan pancakes, fruit bowl, and hashbrowns. Everything was delicious! The staff were very friendly. I highly recommend it.

From the outside, this does not seem like a place that offers multiple vegan options. I am glad that looks can be deceiving. The lady who took our order was both extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the vegan options. I went with the vegan migas and a vegan pancake.
Read moreI often put ketchup and Cholula on my breakfast dishes, but these vegan migas were so delicious that I thought it would be a crime to alter this impressive blend of spice, cream, and umami. The vegan pancake had both the appearance, taste, and fluffiness of a non-vegan pancake and was absolutely delicious. The portions are huge, so you are sure to leave full. I will definitely be back when in the Dallas area.
Pros: Flavor, Portion size, Variety
Cons: Couldn't find anything wrong if I tried

Compliments to the chef! - Edit
This place is so cute! It's got that small town country feeling. The staff are all very friendly. You will order at the counter and grab a seat. It's a self-serve coffee, so you'll never be empty. There's an entire vegan section. We ordered the vegan French toast and tofu tacos. The tofu was simple and delicious, with the salsa, it was my favorite! The French toast was cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area!

Vegan Migas 10/10!!! - Edit
Traditional “diner”/restaurant that offers vegan options. They not only have vegan options, but have them listed on their menu!!!! This is a huge plus for me, as I hate having to “special order” things. I’ve been here several times, and had the vegan migas every time. SO GOOD!!! 10 out of 10! Each time I’ve visited this restaurant, it has been the same lady at the counter taking orders. She is always so sweet!!! The rest of the staff has also been great each time. It would be so awesome if they would go fully vegan, but I am so appreciative for their efforts so far. 5 stars for their vegan menu!!!

Vegan breakfast in an unlikely spot - Edit
Tasty vegan breakfast options, good portion and quick service. Go early in the morning to get a good table and avoid the crowd as this is a local favorite. I'd recommend jackfruit tacos, tofu tacos, vegan pancakes.

Food is very good and flavorful. Portion sizes are quite large. Prices seem very fair for the quality and amount of food. Will be coming back for sure.

This cute neighborhood cafe offers the most vegan breakfast options I’ve seen in any restaurant that was not solely vegan. Picture was after I ate my fill, the plate is so much food.

Delicious Homestlye Vegan Breakfast - Edit
I love french toast and finding a vegan option, even at a vegan restaurant is rare. Offering vegan pancakes, vegan french toast, and other vegan options on the menu, the French toast was my first choice and it was outstanding! I added fresh strawberries 🍓and it came with an ample amount of maple syrup. So yummy!

The jackfruit taco is amazing!! - Edit
I went here for the first time last weekend. It was busy but there was basically no wait- you order at the counter, pick a table and they bring your food out to you. I tried the vegan tempeh taco, the vegan jackfruit taco, hash browns and coffee with almond milk. Both tacos were really good but the jackfruit one was seasoned amazingly well! I was super impressed with this place, it’s out of my way but I will definitely be back for the food. The vegan migas looked delicious

Unexpected Amazing Vegan Food - Edit
You would not think this place would have Vegan options. Don’t judge the place by what it looks like on the outside… we nearly made that mistake and almost never went in. They have the most amazing vegan taco’s and breakfast options. #Veganuary

Yummy! - Edit
The chocolate chip vegan pancakes were very sweet and hearty. I bought the extra syrup for $2. The syrup came in a ramiken next to the pancakes. They also had syrup on the counter for sharing with everyone. This made me wonder if only the served syrup was vegan or if all the syrup is vegan. Not a big deal considering the ramiken was enough. It's just curious to why my "extra syrup" had a cost if all their syrup is vegan lol.
Read moreThe granola and yogurt was tasty and filling. The yogurt was a little watery but maybe that's normal for non-dairy yogurt?
The restaurant is setup so the guests order at a counter then sit and wait for the food to be brought. Afterwards, just get up and leave. No cleaning.

Excellent vegan & gluten-free options! - Edit
The Depot Cafe is truly a hidden gem for their vegan (and gluten-free!) options! As a decades-long vegan, I was hopeful, but skeptical after hearing the buzz about this place online. My expectations were far exceeded! They whip up some amazing vegan tacos with unique ingredient & flavor combinations that you won't find many other places, and their vegan & gluten-free pancakes are so incredibly fluffy! I would love to see a vegan coffee creamer option and perhaps fresh-pressed juices or smoothies at some point! Pro-tip: be prepared to wait in line upon arrival during peak times, even for a call ahead order.

Great vegan choice - Edit
I had the jackfruit taco and a vegan pancake. My sister had the vegan migas. These choices were great! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the non-vegan people in our party were not really too thrilled with their food. Guess they should go vegan!

Breakfast dinner with vegan options - Edit
This place is a staple of Frisco. I used to come here with my family for breakfast but stopped when we became vegan. A few weeks ago I learned about their new vegan menu. I have tried their vegan pancakes, vegan French toast and (my favorite) tempeh breakfast taco. All delicious! Having multiple options in a menu is always a plus. Glad to see them adding this to their Breakfast menu.
