Worth a regular visit - Edit
I've been here twice, about four years apart and it lives up to the expectation of memory, which is great!

Lots of lovely choices - Edit
The waitress said when I asked that they could veganise everything. I had a hot dog and fries which was lovely. They have 4 tables inside and the decor is very different but it has a lovely feel and the waitress was really helpful. It’s very small so you can’t guarantee a table but it’s definitely worth a visit.

Everything can be made vegan - Edit
Fab diner with lots of vegetarian and vegan choices. Hot dogs, chilli, fries with an amazing choice of vegan ice creams. We had a sundae with ice cream, syrup, nuts and waffle cone. Was delicious 😋

Service needs improvement - Edit
There seems to be loads of nice vegan options here and the interior is really lovely. I chose the chilli chips which were fine if a bit unexciting. However, the staff attitude was pretty rude. I asked what was in the vegan chilli (if it was lentils or vegan mince) to which the guy responded "pork, beef, lamb". I think it was supposed to be a joke but it left us confused. Why offer loads of vegan options but then choose to try and ridicule customers? He seemed rather defensive at being asked simple questions about the food and really didn't seem to want to be there. Other customers seemed to be getting the same difficult treatment and it was all quite awkward.

Amazing vegan hot dog - Edit
I loved the menu, there was practically a vegan option for every meat one! I ordered a vegan hot dog with cheese which had lovely fresh bread and came with amazing fries. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

Awesome place and lovely staff - Edit
Great food and so many options! There is a separate vegan menu with loads of options on, including vegan cheese and mayo for the burgers and hot dogs. They also do vegan ice cream, so we could enjoy a soda float along with the omni and veggie members of the family. The staff were so lovely and accomodating to our many different orders (being a group of 7 and a mix of vegans, veggies and omnis!). Would highly recommend to anyone in the area :))

Vegan menu - Edit
We haven’t eaten here yet as they only open until 5pm. Popped in to enquire about their vegan burger - read it on a previous review 😊 - and they were very accommodating, see added image of vegan menu.
Read moreThey cook each burger in vegetable oil in a separate frying pan, and the chips are cooked in vegetable oil too.
Sadly we can’t get there before 5:30 so I can’t comment on the actual taste and service.
They did say they were soon going to open for evening meals until 7pm, so will keep the review updated. Hope they do because aldeburgh doesn’t have any vegan options😊
Update: 18th July 2020
Really enjoyed the vegan burger and yummy fries to takeaway. The burger was really tasty and enjoyed the mustard and gherkins. A side of coleslaw was a nice touch.
