lots of vegan options, reasonable prices & tasty food!

We stopped here from Manchester airport and had a delicious lunch! The dark chocolate ginger energy balls were absolutely amazing! Lovely little cafe tucked away - would 100% recommend with plenty of vegan options ✨

Lovely hidden space

Fabulous hidden gem in Islington Mill. Great seating area outside and plenty inside. It's dog friendly, and they even had homemade dog treats for pup visitors.

Food is tasty and varied with a few cakes also on sale. There's also a decent refill shop as part of the cafe.

My only downside is that it's not fully vegan , more 95%

Hidden gem

Was at the Mill on business and our group popped into the Deli Lama talking about facilites at the mill. The attractive looking ciabattas in the cabinet kept calling me.....drawing my attention. and upon seeing this one of our hosts mentioned just how good they were. So I was more than happy to hear there was a short break before our next part of the tour and I ordered the Tempeh bacon style hot sandwich with sriracha mayo and ..yeah I can't remember the other bits in there ....other than to say it was delicious. There were a couple of other choices including a vegan breakfast wrap. The eat-in sandwich with three coffees was £14, which I was more than happy with paying. The cafe has a nice vibe , also stocks a few wholefood/vegan bits too and staff are friendly. The cafe sits at the centre of a collective of artist spaces and I can see it getting very popular with more (deserved) exposure.

Amazing jackfruit curry, a little slow but well worth the wait!

I think it’s a little unfair that only 5 stars are allowed to fully vegan/veg restaurants! Stuff is clearly marked

Vegan options in Salford

I called in for takeaway lunch and was pleased there were a good few vegan options, including soup, interesting looking sandwiches and hot mains (as well as cakes). I went for a Caribbean style curry and rice which was very tasty. Service was friendly and it looks like there would be a nice evening atmosphere too with jazz on a Thursday night. About a 15 min walk from The Manchester College. Would definitely go back.

Pros: Good vegan selection, cool atmosphere, Friendly staff

Cons: Tiny bit pricier than would normally pay
