Delightful Service, a couple options!

I popped in today hoping to find something vegan and gluten free - they made up a houmous sandwich on gluten free toast and a vegan hot chocolate. Was all very lovely and the staff were quite kind.

Tasty food with a warm welcome

Although there was nothing stated vegan on the menu, the staff were only too happy to explain what they could offer me. They have vegan cheese, haggis and sausages. Vegan cakes and a selection of plant milks. I had a cheese and haggis panini with the soup of the day which were both lovely. Well made oat latte too.

Pros: Plenty of choice, Friendly staff, Quaint setting

Cons: Nothing stated vegan on menu, Not the warmest place on a cold day

Excellent spot for lunch in Callander

We had a lovely day in Callander yesterday tackling Ben A'nn and the Crags with a pit stop in Deli Ecosse in between the two for lunch. The staff were lovely and couldn't have been any nicer despite us having to change the time of our booking a few times.

I had a roasted veg, hummus and vegan cheese sandwich with lentil soup and lemon cake for afters and all were absolutely delicious. So nice to actually be able to have some vegan cake and not have to make do with my stash of biscuits that I usually take with me for having in places with no vegan cake when my non vegan friend is eating her non vegan cake!

The prices were great too, so reasonable!

Would highly recommend this wee cafe is you are ever visiting beautiful Callander. It's only 20 minutes drive from Ben A'nn car park and 5 minutes drive from Callander Crags and Bracklin Falls car park.

Pros: So reasonably priced, lovely staff , delicious food

The People Are Soooo Lovely

We were told to check out the cafe as we were told they might have some Vegan cake. There was one Vegan cake, but I asked what else was Vegan...and the woman's eyes lit up and listed the huuuuge array of savoury Vegan options, including a fry up, several toasties and soups (and of course all the milks for my cuppa). I opted for the haggis and vegan cheese toasty, just great! We also had a Vegan Minestrone Soup which was homely and tasty. This place is a hidden gem, and all the servers are lovely!

Pros: Loads of Savoury Vegan options, Wonderfully friendly staff, All you want from a gem of a cafe

Cons: Omni food (even though they cater for everyone), Limited Vegan Cakes (quibbling here, its ace!)

Cute wee cafe!

Had a lovely small breakfast here, the menu stated catering for all dietary requirements and this was confirmed with the incredibly kind staff. I had the wee veggie breakfast and was given options for what to swap to make it fully vegan.

The portion was small but it was just the right size for my hunger levels, they even brought out my own tub of vegan spread for the toast which I felt was a lovely gesture.

Would defo recommend for anyone travelling through the highlands!

Pros: Helpful staff with vegan alternatives, Cute small cafe with a calm atmosphere
