I asked for the recommendation, they recommended a fish. We overpaid for the meal (20 euros) , it was not tasty and the portion was small. At the end they overcharged us by 10 euros! We feel we have been cheated

No vegan food!! - Edit
Looking for vegan food in Kotor we stopped at Dekaderon and asked for vegan food. The waiter said: „If you’re not 100% vegan you can have all the dishes from the fish/seafood section“. After explaining again he told us that there is not a single vegan option for us.

We asked the staff if there were any vegan options available. One of the waiters said that they don't serve any vegan options any longer, even though they might have done so in the past (according to this app). You might be able to get a vegetarian pizza without cheese, or some other downgraded, incomplete meal, but there's a much better option in Kotor with a separate page dedicated to vegan dishes! :)

Awful experience - lied about cheese being vegan - Edit
We visited this restaurant following good reviews indicating that pizzas with vegan cheese were available. On arrival we asked the waiter if we could have a pizza with vegan cheese, which he said we could.
Read moreOn receiving our pizzas we found the cheese to be obviously mozzarella. We asked the waiter to confirm and he claimed it was vegan cheese. We again stressed that we could not eat mozzarella, to which the waiter acted as though we had offended him and his principles. He claimed that they sourced this magic cheese specially from a supplier in Bosnia, and said we could see the label if we really wanted to. So we said we did. He instead brought out a slice of mozzarella on a lettuce leaf for us to try. Needless to say we left without paying.
I find it disgraceful that an establishment would blatantly lie about providing vegan food just to make money. Especially considering that some people cannot eat cheese for medical reasons and could as a consequence have become ill because of the lies of the staff.

Rude staff and boring food - Edit
Went to this restaurant as described to have vegan cheese. It’s the same as every other restaurant in kotor. You can order veg pizza minus cheese or veg pasta. Didn’t seem to understand vegan and were quite rude in general. Go to ombra bar instead.

No vegan pizza for the moment - Edit
We came here all the way from Budva to find out there's no more vegan chese for the moment. The waiter said they had many vegans lately and it is really hard to find vegan cheese. Is it really? I think you would make an effort especially when many vegans are coming to your restaurant. I had to go with the vegetarian option and a salad which is kind of small and expensive. Pizza is 9 euro, salad is 5 euro.

Thank you Happy Cow reviewers for recommendations of this place. Summer, live saxophone next door, history, atmosphere and a vegan cheese pizza with tasty vegetables and a red wine. Yes options for fish and meat eaters available. But such a nice change from salad or grilled vegetables with rice. Thank you Dekaderon😊

The staff here are great. They are very aware of vegan diet concerns and will make vegan meals on request. Prices are fair, and the food is great. A good option in Kotor.
