While not wholly vegan, this very large specialty foods grocery store sells a wide variety of local and imported (particularly European) vegan dry and canned specialty goods, as well as a varied selection of local and imported vegan cheeses and desserts in the refrigerated and frozen sections. Open Mon-Sat 10:00am-6:00pm. Closed Sun.

A Vegan's Paradise

This gourmet grocers is the type of place where a vegan foodie could spend a couple of dazed and wondering hours wandering the aisles, filling a cart, and spending several paychecks. I have done so myself.

Their produce is great, and their imported canned goods, mostly from Italy but some from elsewhere in Europe or the Middle East, are lovely. Their European chocolates section (like what you'd find in a European deli in Toronto, if you've been to those!) has a variety of "accidentally vegan" goodies, like marizipan bars and Croation sweets, among others.

They have a wide variety of vegan cheeses in their refrigerated section, including one local brand that was new to me.

It's not cheap, but for a once-in-a-while treat, a visit to this place is a delight.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, High quality produce, Vegan cheese variety

Cons: Pricey
