Good Service - Edit
There were four of us, and we arrived with no booking. This wasn’t a problem for the staff and we were seated promptly. The menu was a mix of mainly meat based meals and some vegetarian options. I went for the Vegetable Biryani. It was a little too dry for me and could have been one notch hotter. The Onion Bhaji starter was nice too. Good service.

I am not sure what this restaurant is even doing on Happy Cow. D’Chillishaker is an Indian restaurant which serves Vegan dishes if you ask, nothing exceptional there. With only one exception I can think of, all Indian restaurants will accommodate vegans. But the problem with D’ Chillishaker is that the food is not great. It is average at best. There were hardly any vegan dishes available, the staff were knowledgeable and steered me the right way with what I could have, but beyond that there is nothing to make D’Chillishaker stand out.
Read moreI had vegetable samosas to start and Vegetable Balti with rice for main. Both were okay, but nothing more. I eat Indian constantly, it is my fifth meal in seven days and all of the others were superior to this. Only one of the other restaurant is listed on Happy Cow, I am a little surprised this one is.
Pros: A few vegan-adaptable meals available. , Reasonably priced.
Cons: Unmemorable food. , The restaurant lacked warmth and character.

There weren't too many places in Letterkenny we could go but this Indian place had plenty of things we could adapt and the staff were helpful in pointing out what we could have. I had a nice balti with boiled rice and roti bread, while their jalfrezi was also tasty.

Nice option for evening meal in Letterkenny where there isn't too many places for vegans. The staff were friendly and service was good. The food ingredients are clearly labelled on the menu but the waiter will clarify everything too.
