The place is so comfortable on top of having great food. One thing I noticed about other vegan places here in Washington is that most of them have a very fast food feel. And while this is counter order, they are so service oriented and kind, very knowledgeable about their food. Super pretty neighborhood as well. We have come here to eat twice now. Today I had the Greens and Gorgonzola salad with fried cauliflower, I substituted the Caesar dressing for the Orland vinegar. My boyfriend had the beef burger with fries, he had it without the bun as he is gluten free as well. Ooh— And those desserts 💜.

Beyond the incredible atmosphere, it's also one of the few spots with vegan options open later! We had great drinks, the ricotta and herb focaccia (dipped in marinara) and the Fries Italiano (equal parts fries and GARLIC 🧄)! Loved this spot and great staff too. Highly recommend.

The food was nothing special, and was expensive. I went with a friend, we were both hungry so we got 4 dishes (because one dish per person was just too small) and 2 alcoholic drinks and totaled $160 (including the tip)!

The cocktails were good and the service was charming. But overall I wouldn't go there again and recommend to find better places.

Some of the tastes were great, but then the pasta was overcooked and bland. The service was a way too eager and not reading the table. Tried to clear our drinks and plates twice before we were done.

Read moreFirst when I got there the atmosphere was amazing. It was very clean and well organized. They had gender neutral bathrooms that were very clean. When I ordered at the counter the staff were friendly and helpful. I decided to order the Calamari, Buffalo Bites,and Potato Skins
Calamari-The calamari was soooooo goooddd. I haven’t had calamari in years but from what I remember this tastes a lot like it. They had a good portion when usually there’s not enough for things like this. The outside is crunchy while the inside is chewy. It comes with lettuce and marinara sauce and a lemon.
Potato skins- The potato skins were delicious. The sauce on them was so amazing. I don’t usually like potatoes but the sauce on this and all the seasonings just tasted so good. It came with four potato skins. I never had potato skins before I went vegan so I have no reference of what they are so post to taste like but I really like the ones at DC vegan.
Buffalo Bites- I have had A LOT of buffalo bites from lots of vegan restaurants. Every time I get them at a vegan I rank them in my head. Right now these buffalo bites are ranking🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁……….. NUMBER 2 (number one goes to great sage). I am very specific about how I like my buffalo bites but these are great. The texture is amazing and they a pretty spicy (I wouldn’t recommend for people that don’t tolerate spicy food). They are just great and the presentation was amazing.
After I ate all that I somehow had room for dessert so I got pumpkin spice cheesecake and cannolis.
The cheesecake was great. The texture wasn’t really like cheese but still tasted good. The frosting was a little too sweet but I’m very particular about my desserts. Overall I rate this cake 8/10.
The cannoli shell was soft and delicious. The inside didn’t taste that real but the texture was really nice and the chocolate chips inside were really good. 9/10
