Read moreA lot of different things, now and then even something completely new comes on the table.
It wasn't a world-changing dish, but I would give almost everything 3 to 4 out of five gourmet stars.
The service was very nice.
After each course we were asked to hand in our plates ~I found that unnecessary.
The cheesecake was too sweet for me 3 out of 5 stars.
Can also be visited with a child ;)

This Portuguese vegan buffet chain has a location in Faro, and I was thrilled to find it! The food was a solid B … but I’m a bit of a food snob, so I definitely recommend dining here if you can. The appetizers were all really good, the entrees were good as well and (coming from the States) it is so refreshing to see a vegan buffet in a “small” town. Hit them up! Tasty all-vegan lunch buffet - Edit
A really nice all-vegan buffet that I would highly recommend to anyone in Faro! The selection was a positive surprise and had lots of beautiful and non-boring options - everything we had was really tasty. Also their homemade pear and orange juice was yummy. We took a slice of their apple pie and banoffee pie with us and especially the latter was delicious.

Definitely won't be hungry as it's eat as much as you want but they tell you not to waste food which is fair (felt like I was told off though). There were food item I liked but some not so much. The lentils, rice, salad and broccoli soup was my favourites. It's local payment cards only or cash. Went again 3 days later and a different member of staff said no problem to take our Mastercard. Also the food choices and soup was different so that's good if you want to eat differently each visit.

The least good daTerra i have been - Edit
I have been in several daTerra restaurants around Portugal and this was the least good. The food suits the standards of the chain, although the warm food has not a lot of options. If you like cold dishes the offer is bigger.
Read moreBut the less good point was definitely the service. Didn’t feel (somehow) very welcome and didn’t feel any connection between the staff and the costumers. The employees were seated on a table in the laptop while at work and just got up whenever someone needed to pay.
They are not strong in cafeteria drinks and i needed to return my coffee with milk twice because the first time was half of the cup and it was cold (they didn’t warm the milk) and the second time it didn’t look good. I think the milk was not good anymore.
As a professional barista in Switzerland, i would suggest them to keep an eye in this. And if the soy milk that they have is not a barista version, it doesn’t foam properly to make cappuccinos.
If i would go back? Yes, i want to try other daTerra restaurants around the country.
If i would go again to this one? Probably not.

Das vegane Büffet abends war so gut. Viele Salate, Pasta, einfach toll. Vor allem die Dips zum Blumenkohl und zu den Kartoffeln waren unfassbar lecker.
Read moreWer nach dem Büffet noch etwas essen kann, auch viele vegane Kuchen zur Auswahl. Der Cheesecake war sehr lecker, nicht wie erwartet sehr käsig, er hat geschmeckt wie das orangene Soleroeis. Die Inhaberin ist so super lieb, auch das Restaurant sehr schön. Große Empfehlung!

Das Buffet ist umfangreich, das Essen gut, wenn auch nicht außergewöhnlich gut oder ausgefallen. Für den großen Hunger sehr empfehlenswert, da gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Abendbuffet kostet derzeit 12,60 Euro.

Da Terra 💚🙌🏻 - Edit
After visiting da Terra in Porto I was very excited to visit Da Terra in Faro. The buffet was very well prepared and many things on the buffet were different than the buffet in Porto. I started with a soup and had several plates with delicious food afterwards. It would be great to see this concept in more countries.

Really loved it! Lots of vegan options, very tasty! The tofu and mango curry was fantastic as well as the lime cheesecake. The appetizers were varied and great. Definitely going back again!

DaTerra does it again! - Edit
Never a dissapointing experience going to any of the DaTerra restaurants. Had a very pleasant evening at the Faro one and was especially impressed with the wonderful service from the chap working there and others. Friendly bunch, epic food as usual and as always... Left the place very full!!

After traveling with family (who aren’t vegan) and having limited options in all the restaurants we would go to together, it was nice to have a full buffet of food that we could eat. Food was delicious! Buffet had a hot and cold side with so many different options.
