Example dishes include potato soup, vegan sweet potato quinoa bowl, quinoa stuffed peppers, Mexican skillet with cauliflower or jasmine rice, pretzel bites and more. Also offers a selection of breakfast bars and baked goods. Relocated from Perryville. Open Wed-Sat 10:00am-4:00pm. Closed Sun & Tue. Only open 1st Saturday of the month.

Several vegan options

We were driving through the area and thought for sure there wouldn't be any vegan food nearby. But luckily, we found this cute shop on Happy Cow! It's nestled in a quiet, quaint little town just outside St. Louis. They have several vegan options including salads, rice bowls, veggies, juice and smoothies. We tried the hummus & veggie wrap and two different smoothies. Everything was delicious! And for me, it was a real treat to find something healthy so close to the interstate.

The shop also sells a variety of paintings & handmade items by local artisans, as well as salsas, pickles, etc. I had never heard of strawberry salsa before. The owner said it was wonderful with tofu so I just had to buy it haha😄I can't wait to try it!

I think the best part though is that the owner is so friendly and sweet.

I wanted to give the shop 5 stars, but happy cow says you can only give 5 stars for a 100% vegan restaurant. I understand that and yes, this shop does serve meat and uses honey in some of the dessert recipes.
