Nice cozy cafe with great vegan options - Edit
This was a great find on a day we were dragging a bit. My partner ordered the chai latte with oat milk, and I honestly think it was the best tasting chai latte I have ever had! It was very smooth and flavorful without being too spicy. My matcha latte was equally smooth, and not gritty like it can sometimes be. No soy milk is available, but there is oat milk, coconut milk, and almond milk. There are also several vegan sweets offered here. The vegan banana bread was moist and very tasty!

The açai bowl was delicious, i added mango on top. The chai latte was great too, just could have been a bit more hot. Place is very cozy.

Good cozy spot - Edit
A nice and relaxed place.
Read moreI had a Buddha bowl which tasted good and the price: size ratio was fine for me. However, for me it was rather a salad than a bowl given the quinoa:salad ratio.
My matcha latte was very nice.

Nice Vegan Options - Edit
The Franzbrötchen and apple almond tart are very nice, and the coffee is quite good (unfortunately they do charge more for plant milks). I haven't tried an acai bowl yet because even though I ordered one and left an entire hour, the service was so behind that I was forced to cancel and get to an appointment, which was a little disappointing for such a small meal! (At least I got a good coffee, that was most important!). The service is friendly though, and as mentioned the baked goods are yummy. There are many vegan options and everything is well marked. (I actually think the whole menu is vegetarian.)

Good - Edit
This is a nice little shop near university. It is located on a bigger street, so sitting outside is not that comfortable. But on the inside it is really pretty and cozy. Their menu is quite small, which I really like. I had the acai bowl, a latte macchiato with almond milk and a piece of banana bread. The banana bread wasn’t my favorite. It is to chewy and bland for my taste. But I really liked the bowl. For some extra money, it is possible to add additional toppings to it. That can make it kinda pricy very quick, but in the end the prices are average for the location.

Nice atmoshere - Edit
I am always thrilled to find a place that offers açai bowls! This is the first place however where the açai puree itself was not frozen which took me a bit by surprise. As it was quite cold outside I didn't mind too much. On a hot summer day that may have been different. I like that they offer different toppings to choose to your liking and they offer the usual standards as seasonal fruits, nuts and seeds. They had 2 vegan cakes on offer and the service was very friendly and quick. I had my tea and bowl within a minute. Yes, it's not cheap but ,come on, it's Munich Schwabing. Nothing is cheap here.

Great place ! - Edit
I usually only eat acai bowls at home and because it's quite time consuming to make I was overjoyed to find a coffee shop that also serves them!
Read moreDaddy Longlegs is close to the university of Munich and thus easily to reach via subway / bus. The shop is quite small, but the atmosphere is amazing!! It's beautifully decorated, candles are lit and the staff is really friendly. And most importantly, the acai bowls are divine ! Especially because you can choose the toppings yourself - among others, there are different fruits, nuts, cocoa nibs and super foods like chia seeds and lucuma / maca powder. I also drank a cappuccino and a chai latte with soy milk, and both tasted good. Obviously, the acai bowls aren't particularly cheap but I was very much willing to accept that ;) .
Pros: great food and drinks, big portions, friendly staff, near the city centre
Cons: they also serve non-vegetarian meals, quite expensive

Awesome! - Edit
As i travel a lot to the United States as well as to Brasil, i know and love the acai-bowls. There so yummy and of course very healthy.
Read moreI was always looking for a shop in Munich which offers the bowls but i couldn't find a such a special shop, until now!
Daddy Longlegs just opened like 2 or 3 months ago and yes, they do offer the famous acai-bowls. And they prepare it like the originals from Hawaii or South America, i just can say go there and try it!! They're very delicious!!
(Unfortunately the rating for a non-veg-restaurant is 4 cows out of 5. Otherwise i'd had given 5 cows of 5!)
