Worst Staff - Edit
As a vegan I like to come here once in a while for a load of comfort food. But being treated like crap after commuting all the way in and being told they close 2h earlier than they used to and we should have known better because a piece of paper on the door says so (no change on Google or Happy Cow) is definitely not a good idea to keep your regular customers. I'll remember that travel back and forth from home on an empty stomach and the way we've been received next time we crave for that kind of food and we'll go somewhere else for sure.

Extensive Vegan Menu, Fun and Friendly! - Edit
It’s so awesome to be spoiled for choice with an extensive vegan menu! I got the vegan unicorn beignets and the vegan buffalo chicken nachos. Both were delicious and the beignets were super special and reminded me of something you’d get at Disneyland. Nachos were spicy and flavorful. We will be back!

Anniversary Dinner - Edit
My partner and I came here for our one year anniversary, and wow; this place was amazing. With a vegan menu posted right on the window, we knew we were in for a treat.
Read moreWe started with the breadsticks and they were awesome though I think I could skip them if I was on a budget.
We split a “Chicken” Parmesan with Beyond Italian sausage. It was amazing. The sausage is totally worth it.
They have 5 vegan wines (samples offered)! A rarity at many restaurants; and the beignets were AUTHENTIC, add a sauce for a special treat (we tried the cookie butter). Worth the trip alone.
Definitely coming here for a date or dinner with friends.
Pros: Prominent Vegan Menu, Vegan Wines, Can split items with 2 people (large portions)
Cons: Slightly pricey

This place is just down the street from us and we used to go quite often with friends, but could really only get drinks and fries. Now we go and can barely choose from all the amazing options! The staff is so friendly and grateful for your patronage.

Go to vegan Italian! - Edit
It's rare to find a place with such an extensive vegan Italian menu. Cybells makes their own cheeses. The pesto gnocchi is one of the best I've ever had. They have interesting pizza options - I tried the Mac and cheese and it was very good. And the vegan beignets! The service is some of the best I've experienced.

A lot of vegan options - Edit
This is our go-to vegan place when we don’t know what we want. They have a separate vegan menu and vegan items on their specials menu. They have vegan pizza, pasta, burgers, sausages, etc. They never disappoint. There portions are also huge. This place also has a good vibe.

Needs Improvement - Edit
In a city known for great food, it wouldn’t be my first pick. Maybe we got the wrong stuff? Started with the vegan breadsticks- nice texture. Didn’t love the pesto sauce on top though. And they are served with a cashew cheese sauce that is the main reason for the low review. It was NOT good. Looked like grits, had little flavor and was weirdly sweet. We didn’t even order it but got charged 1.50.
Read moreI hate ragging on any restaurant like this that serves so many vegan options because I think it’s awesome to see such a solid effort! If you’re local and have non vegan friends who want a pizza and bar vibe, go for it. The pizza (Golden dragon) was good and the gluten free vegan crust was bomb!! That was the best part.
Also they had a vegan Parmesan cheese which is cool- seemed nutritional yeast based.
Pros: Vegan gluten free pizza crust was great, Lots of options , Sports bar with non-hippie vibe
Cons: A bit pricey. $4 for an iced tea?! , Cashew cheese dip , Maybe too many options?

best burger and pesto breadsticks! - Edit
Omni restaurant with the only Italian vegan dishes in San Francisco, they have an extensive menu including pizza, cheesy bread with pesto, pasta's an amazing "shrimp " sandwich and their pretzel bread is awesome! It's a cute restaurant where you see the family and Christa (their daughter) hustling to please all their clients and they are all just so kind!! Perks they have bomb vegan Bloody Mary's and tv for watching the games! Def one of my fav in sf!

Amazing vegan pizza and so many options! - Edit
My partner and I just saw the sign that this restaurant has a new all vegan menu! They have everything from vegan breadsticks and Siracha stuffed mushroom caps (with cashew cheese and cashew parm) to full pizzas with veggie and chick'n or soy bacon toppings, plus pasta and a gluten free vegan crust! For our first visit to this restaurant, we tried the mushroom caps and a medium veggie pizza on gluten free crust and it was all fantastic! They make the cashew cheese and cashew pesto in house and it's delicious. Plus, they have a house made vegan garlic parmesan topping for you to sprinkle. Wonderful!
Read moreUpdate: they've expanded their menu so much it's amazing! Sandwiches with vegan mung bean egg and bacon, vegan shrimp, lasagna, calzones, fettucini, breadsticks, fries, sweet potato fries, loaded nachoes, cashew cheese, vegan chicken, stuffed mushrooms, vegan drinks like blo ody Mary and a strawberry sweet drink with a vegan marshmallow, and of course beignets with chocolate sauce!!!
Pros: lots of vegan options, friendly and knowledgeable
Cons: none

5-Stars! best vegan options in SF - Edit
I have lived in SF for many years and I’ve seen vegan restaurants come and go. This is, hands down, one of the best vegan restaurants in the city. They serve meat but their vegan menu clearly states they use separate friers, utensils etc for everything that is vegan. And they make their own vegan cheese and a crazy good vegan fried egg. Everything on the menu is very good—I’ve tried it all. They are creative, trying out new things and adding and subtracting things from the vegan menu. And the service is great.

Cybelle’s has the best service and incredible vegan food. Their vegan pizzas are so creative and delicious. We order XL every time because the leftovers are superb! The owner’s vegan daughter created the vegan menu and the restaurant avoids any cross contamination. Cybelle’s really is a gem for amazing vegan food.

Great vegan options - Edit
It’s not a vegan restaurant but they have a vegan menu. They introduced some vegan dishes after the daughter of the owners went vegan and they’ve added new options since then.

I tried a gluten-free pizza and I loved it. But my favorite option is the Vegan Buffalo Chicken Ranch Nachos! They’re amazing! And VERY spicy!
They also have the Impossible Burger and they use a separate fryer for all the vegan options.
Last but no least, they are really nice! :)
Pros: House-made vegan cheeses, gluten-free options

I love that they’re constantly expanding their vegan menu with creative dishes. They make everything in-house, even their nut-based cheeze. You can get a vegan monster slice or a whole pizza or lasagne or nachos or beignets...the list goes on and on. Super friendly staff. Delicious pizza!

Pizza for Vegans - Edit
This is a great place to go with mixed crowds (vegans and non-vegans). The vegan menu is complete with all kinds of pizza, pasta, calzones, other italian dishes, and the Impossible Burger. And your friends can get a pepperoni and sausage pizza.
Read moreI tried a pizza with tomatoes, broccoli, chicken and bacon (soy-based). As I understand their pizza dough and sauce have always been vegan and for the cheese you can choose their house-made cashew-based cheese. It came out piping hot. I have to say the cheese was more than just melted, it was absolutely liquified. And the crust was a bit crunchy though it still held together well. The second slice was better than the first as the temperature came down to human levels so the cheese was a bit more stringy. Leftovers the next day were even better yet as the dough got a touch soggy which actually helped.
The place was extremely busy, I wouldn't have had to wait for a table but I ordered it to go. Takes 25 minutes to make. By the time my za was ready they were closed for an hour between lunch and dinner so I got a table. It was busy because they were having their monthly "pop up vegan fair" with several local vendors selling vegan products.
Next time I want to try their spaghetti carbonara.

I can’t get over how many great options there are here, and they are all delicious! So nice to find a place that makes homemade vegan cheese for their pizza instead of the standard daiya. The breadsticks are what dreams are made of. Anything with their pesto is bomb! They can even do their pasta dishes with zucchini noodles! Great location, friendly staff & they do delivery too!!
