Should absolutely be 5 stars

They have an entire separate vegan menu. We got the vegan gnocchi and the vegan "chicken" parmesan and it's absolutely delicious.
They comped us vegan cheesecake beignet. I've never had vegan beignet before. It was great
Nice atmosphere, not too busy, friendly staff, low key, surprisingly affordable

They deserve a 5-star

It bums me out that I can’t give Cybelles a 5-star rating, as the place and staff are awesome. Yes, it’s not 100% vegan but this is the best experience a vegan could ask for from a place that serves other food.

They have a huge separate menu of vegan food and the staff is completely knowledgeable on this. Yes, there are plenty of vegan pizza options and they are all very good. They are unique, with the best toppings. Some of my favourites are the mac and cheese, golden dragon, and triathlon (but make sure you have helpers on this one!)

But they also have a bunch of other great options that you’ll want to try. The garlic parm wings, for example, are super decadent and savory. Or you can go with something more healthy like the caesar salad (chicken optional.) And if you’re not feeling pizza for your main, there are several burger options and even loco moco!

Try them out and you won’t be disappointed! #Veganuary

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Knowledgeable staff

So many options

Upon entering, they asked if I wanted the vegan or regular menu of which I asked for the vegan menu. There were so many options for pizzas, max and cheese, etc. The prices are quite scary, but the portion sizes are very good to justify the prices.

Pros: separate vegan menu , Delicious

Cons: Scary prices

Best vegan comfort food ever!!! 🔥💯

I ordered the vegan triathlon which consists of pepperoni pizza, mac n cheeze calzone and cashew pesto garlic knots. Comes with vegan ranch, marinara, parmesan and chilli flakes. I also got the Oreo beignets with cookie butter dip on the side. I think the order says it all. The taste was insane and the restaurant really shows you that your not „missing out“ on anything!

Amazing vegan food from a POC a family owned business

I am visiting San Fran from Florida and as a vegan I was super excited to try out CyBelle's! They have a HUGE vegan menu with tons of different options. The owners are incredible and made me feel right at home. I ordered the mozz sticks, Loco Moco, chickun wings, the Mac Attack pizza, and the original beignets. Everything was delicious but my top two favorites were the Mac Attack and beignets. I wish I lived in San Fran because I would come back every week! This spot must be on your list of places to visit whether your vegan or not! Even my non-vegan boyfriend loved the food and for those not wanting to try vegan they also have a standard menu!

Pros: 5 pages of vegan options , Lovely owners , Delicious food

Wow! Must go!

Being vegan I have heard about this place for awhile and finally went there! If you make a trip to SF you must go. Had the Chkn Parmesan- very good! The Cesar salad was perfection! They had impossible meatballs served with marinara sauce- so delicious! Make sure you save room for the Beignets. We were full and we’re going to order 2 but decided to go for 4. We ate them all and wished we had more! Ordered a side of caramel to dip them in - didn’t regret any of it! Can’t wait to go back and try other items in the menu.

Pros: Full Vegan Menu with lots of options , Quaint cute restaurant , Staff are very friendly and sweet

Outstanding Vegan Pizza

I would have never known to check this spot out had a local and friend not brought me here. This spot was off my radar and I am an instant fan!
Cybelle’s kitchen protocol is fully committed to cleanliness and avoidance of any cross contamination of non vegan items in their preparation. So for vegans this is extremely appreciated and provides much comfort and ease when dining here.
You can’t go wrong with any choice on the menu. I really enjoyed the vegan pepperoni pizza pie and loved that they make their own in house pepperoni.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , NO cross contamination , In house made items

Amazing options!

They have a vegan menu available and there are so many options! Took a while to choose what to order because everything sounds so great. The wings are a must try — the texture is spot on & the sauces it comes with were amazing with it. The golden dragon pizza was good but could have went without potatoes. Chkn loco moco had terrific flavor. Overall, a great place to try.

Great food!

Great vegan menu.

Had the triathlon - very tasty, more like for 1-2 people though
Ranch burger with wedges in - also good though a bit big for me personally
Spicy chicken wings half order - delicious especially the sauce
Unicorn beignets - not 'natural' tasting but still delicious
Oreo beignets - maybe the most delicious dessert ever

Pros: The whole menu. The Oreo beignets!

Cons: A little expensive

Holy crap!

Had this finally for the first time today thanks to my boss giving out DoorDash gift cards. The Mermaid sandwich is so good! They also gave a handful of pickle slices and they were also so good! I do love pickles.

Also tried the unicorn beignets and guess what? SO GOOD! I’ve actually never had a non-vegan beignet but these are the best vegan ones I’ve had. Still warm too since I live relatively close.

Pros: Huge vegan menu, Good portions, Fun items!

Cons: Not a full vegan restaurant

SO GOOD! Go here!!

I enjoyed the pizzas I tried the first couple times I went, but I actually think the other entrées are where cybelle's front room really shines! The vegan menu is gigantic, I have trouble picking what to eat. Last time my partner and I split the Loco Moco and it was incredible. Next time I really want to try the "wings"! It's fairly cozy inside, so going outside of regular dining hours helps ensure you get a spot right away, and don't have to wait a long time. Be aware that it is pricey. I can't afford to eat or often, but when I can, this is easily in my top 3 choices depending on what I'm in the mood for. Highly recommend!! (Especially if you're eating with omni's.)

Pros: Delicious, Tons of vegan options, Vegan wine

Cons: It is fairly pricey

Separate (huge) vegan menu and incredible service. Wish I could give 5 stars!

I have come to Cybelle’s many times and am always left impressed, full and looking forward to my next visit. They offer an extensive vegan menu, it feels like a separate vegan restaurant. They also have a separate vegan fryer so you don’t need to worry about cross-contamination, they are truly mindful of keeping their vegan items separate from animal products. This is the perfect spot if you’re looking for comfort food and dining with a group of meat eaters and vegans. It’s also great if you’re looking for some vegan comfort food in SF that isn’t Asian food.

The food: They are always adding new menu items, they even had a holiday impossible burger decadently topped with mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy. Their Plant Millionaires pizza is amazing- topped with vegan cheese (homemade, not Daiya!), Impossible Burger meat and Beyond Sausage. I am not a fan of most vegan cheeses so appreciate the homemade ingredient found at Cybelle’s. My favorite items I’ve tried are the impossible burger (with vegan pretzel bun), plant millionaire pizza, beyond sausage with all the fixings (also with a vegan pretzel bun!), beignets with cookie butter, vegan carbonara, impossible burger loaded fries and the buffalo chicken nachos. Also, their ranch is better than almost any non-vegan ranch I can remember... be sure to order a side with any pizza or menu item for that matter.

The service: The way I am treated when I come here is unparalleled. The staff is friendly, down to earth and they remember you. They’re also happy to answer all of your questions if you’re unable to choose which delicious vegan item to order.

Pros: Plenty of vegan options, from pasta to burgers, Meat eaters and vegans can all get a great meal, Service is impeccable, you feel like family here

Worth it

A little out of the way for us but worth it. The food is always amazing. The atmosphere is always inviting. The cooks are the best and go out of their way to accommodate special requests and do it with a smile on their faces. Extra toppings in your calzone? No Problem... I'll make it work! Where else would you go where people treat you like you are the best customer?

Quinn, sorry if I spelled it incorrectly, is always super friendly and goes out of her way to make sure the order is always precise. She always makes us feel like making the trip to come back.

Thanks for the good food and family feel!

Pros: Tons of vegan options. , Super friendly , Generous portion

Cons: Not closer to home...

Dank vegan pizza

Yeah, it's expensive, but it's worth it. Get a size larger than you thought you wanted. We demolished our pizza and strongly considered going back for another. Best use of garlic on a pizza. Vegan cheese was on point. Cybelles, shut up and take my money.

Pros: Lots of options.

Cons: Expensive.

Amaaazing eats in San Francisco!!

What a place!! So glad to finally have tried this place. From the outside it looks like any other cozy pizza restaurant but once you go in get ready for a foodie experience! Worth the drive if you aren't an SF local ;)

The vegan menu is amaaazing and so creative. This is a family run restaurant with lots of heart and soul and the vegan daughter of the owner created the plant based menu which is super creative!!

I recommend the beignets 10000% as well as the golden dragon and mac n cheez pizzas! yumm!

Can't way to try more items on the menu!

Pros: Huge vegan menu, beignets to die for!

Cons: A bit on the pricey side but still worth it!

Soo many options but looking for pizza

Cybelle's Front Room

After Vegfest 10/2619

Singles sit at the bar. Busy but attentive but waitress is curt but engaged enough. Vegan menu is up to about 5 pages. Great that they have so many choices in a non vegan restaurant which is good for mixed groups of eating choices. Great they started this all in support of their daughter. At 5pm it was a reasonably full house. First ordered 6 inch pre made. Monster slice is better since their own crust. Asked to change after better explanation of the 6 inch personal. I wanted the Millionaire option but is only available as 12 inch as smallest at $29.82, might order and take the rest home next time.

Base ordered a margherita for comparison to other joints. Can order many other options if I return but way out of the way for me!!

Monster slice was cut in two. I liked mozzarella flavor but not stringy. Definitely not stingy with the amount of cheese  Tomato chunks and not larger slices. Few small basil pieces, strong fresh flavor. Love the crust. So glad I didn't get the pre-made 6 inch!! Interesting double sided crust to one side of the slice and makes me curious hour it is made. The monster slice was pricey portion for one at $9.00 and other options and sizes the prices go up quickly.

Will be curious about other offerings but way out of the way and considered only as a major cheat from healthy eating.

Pros: Five pages of options

Cons: Pricey

Incredible food and hospitality

This place totally deserves 5 stars! It has huuuuge Vegan Menu (longer than most fully vegan restaurants) and the food is really tasty. Plus staff is really attending, owners are there and owner’s vegan daughter herself too.
They also make sure that all utensils are used for vegan food only (separate sets) and are very knowledgeable. So far best vegan spot in SF by far!

Pros: Huge menu and great options, Really really tasty food, Reasonable prices

Cons: Nothing

Insanely large vegan menu

We had the vegan Mac and Cheese and the Golden Gate pizza. The Mac and Cheese was so creamy and delicious and very different from the usual vegan mac and cheese. And the pizza was very adventurous! They had so much on the vegan menu, 3 pages if I remember correctly. I recommend this more than most vegan places I’ve been in SF.
