Firstly lets talk about the positives.
Curry N Kebob has a clearly labeled vegan menu which is not typical for Indian restaurants who are only used to ‘veg’ meaning no meat, but unfamiliar with the term ‘vegan’ for the most part. So points to them for having a vegan friendly menu, not needing modifications but already animal product free.
Another great thing about this place is portions, with an order I received my entree dish, plentiful amount of rice, 4 slices of naan & 2 smaller dishes of side sauces/dips as well as a few pieces of pineapple for sweetness.
My main issue with this place was the flavor of my dish, for context I traveled Indian for 3 months and am very familiar with different styles of cooking both Northern and Southern. My favorite dish is the ‘Aloo Ghobi’ (Potato & Cauliflower curry).
While this wasn’t listed under the vegan options I took a shot and asked if they serve it still, and the cashier immediately said yes.
The curry itself didn’t taste anything like any of the iterations of this dish I’ve had in the past.
Oddly enough when eating, “spaghettios” kept coming to mind and I couldn’t get it out of my head.
So if I’m being honest, it was my least favorite Indian Dish I’ve ever had, HOWEVER I did order something that didn’t appear to be on the menu, so it might be a bit unfair for me to give an honest review since they still accommodated the request despite it not being listed. (Hence my 3 stars as opposed to lower)
Aside from the curry, the naan tasted more like a thin pita or tortilla even, and the texture was much like that as well.
That was slightly disappointing and this would likely be the same exact ‘naan’ available with a typical dish ordered here.
The side dishes/sauces were actually good, and I enjoyed mixing and dipping with naan & rice to create some nice flavors.
The pineapple after eating was a nice touch of sweetness to counter the spice.
I felt full-ish after eating the assortment but unsatisfied with the actual dish.
Atmosphere:
I ate in-house and the interior felt a little drab, and uncared for. Many boxes, shipments and packages of drinks were in view and partially in the public space.
A nice note was that the music that was playing is in hindi & made the ethnic experience feel more authentic.
The staff seemed a little drained or uninterested.

Fabulous Vegan Indian Food - Edit
I have lived in Boulder for 21 years and only discovered this place a year ago when a friend who was new to Boulder told me about it. So many of their dishes can be made vegan by asking them to make it vegan with coconut milk. They are very accommodating and their menu has a vegan/vegetarian menu where all the veggie dishes can be made vegan with coconut milk. The four dishes we get almost weekly are... Vegan Chana Masala made with coconut milk. Vegan Mushroom Mutter made with coconut milk. Vegan Saag made with coconut milk (you can add chick peas if you want). And Veggie Ceylone (which is already vegan). They do upcharge you $1 for coconut milk but it is truly delicious. Also, we get it with the papadom crispy bread which is vegan. The naan is not vegan.
Read morePros: absolutely delish, fast service, takes out well and leftovers are still incredible
Cons: upcharge for coconutmilk to make it vegan, naan has dairy

They have a lot of vegan options and the food is filling and fantastic! It also comes with rotti which is vegan. It’s kinda pricey but I think it’s worth it.

Great Indian Food! - Edit
Fast food type vibe, order at the counter. All the vegetarian meals can be made vegan by asking for coconut milk, and they will sub out the Naan for either roti or papadum. The food tastes amazing and it comes out super quick! One con is even if you ask for the spiciest option it comes out rather mild.

Cons: Spiciest option isn't spicy

Menu rotates, but they always have a couple vegan dishes. I’ve never had something I didn’t love. I also appreciate that the meal always comes with naan, rice, soup, onion pakora, and pineapple.

Amazing food in large portions - Edit
The plates here are delicious and include good sides. The price is pretty high, but at least the portions are quite filling. Any curries with cream can be made with coconut milk instead.

Delicious! - Edit
This restaurant has some really good, authentic Indian food! Many platters available, but some come with non-vegan sides, so be sure to check to make sure you don't eat something you don't want to.

Best Indian in Boulder - Edit
An unassuming little place with the kitchen of gold. My favorite Indian not just in Boulder but in all of the USA. Started small and expanded when the shop next door closed. The food is consistently savory and the family who owns it is so kind and works there all the time - it’s so nice to go in it’s like going home for a bomb meal!
