The gastronomy is 90% vegan and 10% vegetarian. The pastries are 100% vegan. All dishes are prepared on the day with fresh, seasonal and organic products without preservatives and with a careful selection of raw materials. Homemade desserts are free from refined sugars and made with stone-ground flour. NOTE: Advisable to call ahead and ask to set something aside, or might be sold out. Open Mon-Fri 11:00-21:00, Sat 10:00-15:00. Closed Sun.

I was looking forward to try this place out, based on the natural / organic promise.
Read moreBut even if they are supposed to be continuously open until 9pm, even before 6pm there wasn’t much left - pasta with pesto as the only vegan option, and another veggie dish.
Quite inconvenient. As much as I appreciate freshness and efforts to reduce food waste, I would suggest stocking a bit better or improvising some options if this happens.
They did say it’s an option to call ahead and reserve though.

Read moreI'm arrival there seemed to be a really good lunch menu and I was excited to try what was on offer.
I had the vegan lasagne while my husband had crepes. Both were pre-prepared and were plated up to be put into a microwave / heater.
The food arrived hot in places but still mostly cold. Even if it were warm, I don't think that would have improved the flavour! The lasagne was just stodge that tasted occasionally of broccoli. The vegan feta had no flavour and it was all quite greasy. I tried my husbands crepes and they were definitely better, but nothing particularly special or better than you could make at home.
I'd really hoped that we'd found a bit of a gem, but I was really disappointed. The reviews on here are great, so perhaps I went for the wrong thing. Most people seem to have had the cakes and desserts, so perhaps they are better!

At Cuore Verde, the menu is mostly vegan with fresh and seasonal ingredients. Every day it changes and it's delicious!
