Enjoyed our savory, fresh, filling bowls

Excellent, savory Seoul grain bowl. They offer tofu substitution for salads and grain bowls with meat. Very quick service. Hubby enjoyed his feta salad. Portions large enough for two meals, reasonably priced, filling and delicious.

Pros: Vegan options , Lots of vegetarian options

Love the build your own option!

This place is great! I built my own salad and loved being able to choose from so many veggie options. I had a salad with roasted brussel sprouts, butternut squash, and yams as some “premium toppings.” I’d definitely come back again!

Excellent options for healthy vegan eating

Crisp & Green (C&G) has many excellent options for vegans, and I've been getting salads from C&G almost weekly. I'm very thankful to finally have a good lunch spot in the western suburbs, as I work in Plymouth and find the vegan options in the surrounding area generally lacking in taste and healthfulness.

My favorite meal is the build-your-own salad, with the perfectly grilled tofu, pickled shiitake mushrooms, chickpeas, craisins, chopped apples, and sprouts. The yuzu miso dressing adds some zip.

C&G also has one or two vegan soups, which are available seasonally. Other vegan options include smoothies and a rice crispy bar (made with vegan marshmallows).

C&G has an excellent phone app that allows you to preorder and pay, so you can bypass the lines and pick up your order on a designated shelf. This works great when they are busy at lunchtime and you don't have time to wait in line.

An issue with this location is that the ambient noise can be extremely loud, especially during lunchtime. Also, it would be nice to have more shade/umbrellas on the outdoor patio so it would become a better place to escape the noise during the summer.

All in all, a convenient place with terrific vegan options that are healthier than most.

Pros: Healthier options than most places, Numerous vegan options, Ability to customize your salad

Cons: Slightly expensive, although portions are generous, Ambient noise can be unpleasant, Patio isn't shaded from direct sun

Awesome food, Super helpful staff!

I went out to dinner with my parents, this was one we could settle on since it was close with vegan options. We had never been there, the staff was super helpful in walking us through the menu. All of the smoothies are vegan without any modifications, and for the locals one of them is named Purple Rain, and another is known as a Big Island. As a girl who spent a few formative years on the lake, I thought that was pretty great. I got the guava kombucha that was on tap, my mom got the watermelon lemonade, my dad got a green smoothie, and they were all fabulous! I got the Med Remix salad and it was tasty and filling. The vegan intern pointed us in the direction of the rice krispy bars that used brown rice cereal, vegan marshmallows, and coconut oil. The soup of the day was a vegan Tomato Basil and if it hadn't been so hot out I would have gone for it. Next time I'll probably build my own salad and get the jalapeño lime dressing. And there will surely be a next time.

Filling, delicious, and great service

My friend took me here for lunch knowing my vegan limitations and thinking I would enjoy it. She definitely didn't disappoint! The staff was not only welcoming and friendly but also very helpful with me questions and customizing my meal to make it vegan. I had the med remix salad and it was not only bright, fresh, and delicious but also very filling. My friend had the chef curry bowl which I had a bite off and was loving hers too. Hers needed maybe just a touch more dressing. They have both grain bowls and salads as well as a collection as fruit flavored water drinks called agua Fresca. I'm happy to have found a place that doesn't serve processed vegan junk but actually delicious healthy choices. I can't wait to go back and try all of the choices.
