One of the number 1 things I miss being plant based is the pastries so was so happy when I found this spot! Beautifully decorated and really lovely service. My almond crossaint was incredible. The only thing I would say is the toilets could be cleaner but everything else makes up for that.

I've walked past Cream Dream multiple times since I work in the area. I finally went inside and bought a massive almond croissant which was unfortunately very dry, almost stale.
Read moreDespite its strange name, I love the ethos of this cafe. It's a great way to support Ukraine and the refugees who have successfully started a business from scratch. The interiors are stunning, with offerings such as unique drinks, from caffeinated to alcoholic, pastries, cakes, bagels and other snacks. They even have cat stickers and "F**K Putin" wrist bands.
It's a shame I had a bad experience with the food and it's not really fair to rate it off of one item. However, I will definitely be returning and trying some new things in the near future.

I have been to Cream Dream since my previous review and I have decided to increase the rating to four stars.
I really enjoy their chicken bagel and salmon bagel (both meat alternatives, of course). Both are delicious, as are the pastries at the front counter.

However, they’re all freshly delivered to us from Galeta bakery, every morning at 8am.
In cases when we’re not sold out, all croissants go to TooGoodToGo the same evening, so we don’t sell old croissants.
But we will be very happy to see you again for the desserts 💕

Full English (£16) was delicious. They make their own version of a fried egg which looks the part. Not convinced it tasted the the same but it was nice regardless. Cold beans? Strange but again, nice.
The bacon and fried egg avocado toast (£16) was banging good.
Pink chai. Very good chai.
Would I recommend - Yes
Will I return - Yes. To try the lunch menu. Then again for the dinner menu.

The pistachio pastry (£13) was the only good thing. The puff pastry was bland and the €7 chicken bagel sandwich was DRY as hell.
The bread was shriveled up and when you would bite into it everything inside would fall out.

The bagels are gluten free so unfortunately that’s the texture of a gluten free bagel. It’s the best in the market we could find 🥺🩷
The prices are based on a cost of ingredients and salaries of our employees since all the products are handmade ☺️

This place can be summed up in this little story of how a friend using Happy Cow and knowing I was heading to london told be about it.

“Jon there’s a new vegan bakery in london run by Ukrainians and it has an amazing selection of cakes, you must try it out !”
Second message moments later.
“Jon, forget that place it’s too expensive for us, sorry!”
Of course I went anyway, it was a treat to myself and so for half an hour I pretended I still had a good wage. I also told myself that the rest of the days food would be courtesy of Greggs bakery so I could afford Cream Dream! I also just had to see what a place called Cream Looked like! There’s way too much English innuendo in that name not to be intrigued, sadly of course it’s just another case of non Brits innocently using a phrase without being aware of its double entendre.
I digress , if indeed I was ever on topic so far! The service was great the food lovely - I chose a plate of mixed dumplings- and the cakes - I had the honey cake- super. The portions were small but beautifully presented the tea was perfect although sadly not redbush! It was good to see and try out traditional Ukrainian cuisine done vegan. I probably wouldn’t go again unless there was a good chance of someone else treating me! But it was well worth trying it the once.

Authentic 100% vegan Ukraine pastries, with lots of unique and new flavours. Many delicious sweet pastries, savory dishes and great coffee to match. We went here for breakfast and tried almost everything, but you can take everything on the go. Their honey cake and almond croissants were our absolute favorites! Prices were reasonable given their location. So if you're in the neighborhood definitely stop by and take something for on the go!
