Gin afternoon tea - Edit
My bf booked the gin afternoon tea as a birthday treat. It was delicious and I was impressed by the selection. It was a shame you got just one tiny scone each though, the scones, cream and jam should be the main part of an afternoon tea imo. We pay £108 for two for gin afternoon tea (one gin each). Seems way too expensive!

Afternoon Tea Bus Tour - Edit
This was a while ago now....A group of us boarded the Afternoon Tea Bus Tour to celebrate a friend's birthday. Great fun! The vegan items were placed separately to the rest of the food which avoided confusion. Food was pretty good. It was a bit pricey, but a great experience with friends and we got to take home a travel coffee cup.

Tea isn’t Worth the Steep - Edit
Brigit’s is a bakery offering vegan Afternoon tea. Unfortunately, the whole experience falls flat once the bill comes.
Read moreThe tearoom is a cozy escape from the London rain. Although comfortable, the seating creates claustrophobic feelings, with each table sitting within a whisper distance from your closest neighbor.
The savory selection is mostly forgettable. Although traditional, I could have used a little more flavor. Instead, they offer safe versions of classics like hummus, devoid of tahini. The vegan pastrami sandwich stands out with a mustard-infused mayo and a French roll.
The desserts elevate the entire experience. The cherry and chocolate tart is more tart than sweet, but a good place to start. The panda cotta is creamy and balanced nicely with the tart of the raspberry. The macaroon provides a tiny crunch before revealing the gooey chocolate ganache center. The warm freshly-baked scone comes last to ensure optimal temperature and texture— a fitting finale. The whipped, salty butter spreads thick and pairs perfectly.
Their in-house Christmas tea delights with notes of orange, pineapple, and many spices. A full pot comes for each diner, lasting 5-6 delicious cups.
All this is nice, but the price is incredibly high, costing over 110 dollars for two people—a whopping 55 dollars a person.
Brigit’s is one of the few vegan options for Afternoon Tea in London, which might explain the high price tag, but in hindsight, it doesn’t feel like it’s worth the price.
Pros: Location, Vegan Afternoon Tea

Great London Tour - Edit
Great tour to explore London a little differently. VIP seats on the second floor at the front are a bit more expensive but are highly recommended. Tasty vegan Canapés; a little too many sweets, but the leftovers can be taken away at the end, as can the tea/coffee cups. Great entertainment on board. Definitely a bit too much (London traffic), if you have a sensitive stomach.

Outstanding vegan afternoon tea - Edit
This place offers a vegan afternoon tea in their cafe and I was very impressed with all of the food. The sandwiches and savouries were varied and tasty - a quinoa pot and delicious quiche being particular highlights. The scones were fresh out of the over served with a pot of cream and jam, and the desserts were gorgeous. We all loved the little tart and a green apple macaroon. The tea menu is extensive but they also do a great hot chocolate that my children enjoyed. I would highly recommend Birgit’s Bakery for a special treat.

Vegan afternoon tea! - Edit
We went on the afternoon tea bus tour with the vegan afternoon tea. It came with several sandwiches and an assortment of vegan desserts! The bus drove around popular and historical areas in London related to the Queen and the royal family, and the tour guide narrated about the different locations. They served tea/coffee in reusable mugs, and soy milk was available. The food and desserts were very good, including a cupcake, a chocolate truffle, a macaroon, a pudding/trifle, and a tart.

Excellent - Edit
This afternoon tea is some of the best I have ever experienced. The service is very attentive and friendly. The food was great. There were beetroot sandwiches, avocado rolls, quinoa salad, ciabattas, vegetable quiches, brownies, cakes, cheesecake, tarts and and a freshly baked scone with vegan spreads. We ate deliciously and really got enough. They serve fine tea with it. They have a good selection of tea. I can recommend this experience to everyone. Be sure to book the vegan afternoon tea in advance.

No vegan options - Edit
Was very disappointed upon arrival as there were no vegan options at all. Was informed that you need to call a day in advance to make sure they have something vegan.

So, so grateful to B-Bakery - Edit
Traveling as a vegan isn't always fun. Sometimes, I feel like we miss out on part of the experience because we can't eat what the locals eat. Food is such a big part of experiencing the culture, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel sad sometimes that we have to miss out on things. So, when an establishment like B-Bakery offers an authentic experience like a traditional British cream tea, I'm so, so grateful.
Read moreThis absolutely darling tea shop has it all- fantastic service, unbelievably delicious pastries, and a full-on vegan menu. Our incredible tower included everything from savory finger sandwiches and wraps all the way through perfect mini cupcakes and puddings. Our server greeted us with fresh juice before helping us choose a tea to enjoy. Everything about the experience was remarkable, however, towards the very end was my favorite part...
The sandwiches and cake and small bites looked incredibly petite, so as we worked our way up the tower I was not expecting to be so incredibly full! After we licked the decadent frosting of the vanilla cupcake from our fingertips we basked in the afterglow, belly's fully out and completely blissed from our experience... and that's when it happened. Our perfect server came by and asked if we'd like a break before our scones. Say what?! I remember looking at him in shock... THERE'S MORE?! We were full to the brim, and yet, there was more?! He laughed and whisked away our now empty tower, giving us space to contemplate the meaning of life before serving the grand finale.
I thought I had scones before, but I will never look at a scone the same way after indulging in B-Bakery's vegan scone. After staring at it for a moment, willing myself to get going, I picked it up and pulled it apart. Steam rose in willowy threads from the center of this fluffy but dense pastry. The vegan spread and jam served alongside it waited at the ready, about to be slathered and melted into it's piping hot center. This scone was proof that there is a good, and he wants us to be happy. Though we were absolutely stuffed, we somehow found room in our tummy's for every last crumb of it.
I'm so grateful to establishments like B-Bakery, who make room on their menu's and in their restaurants for vegans to enjoy the same things everyone else gets to. Thank you B-Bakery. I'll take my memory of my first real British cream tea with me to my grave.
