The food was simple but very tasty, well-prepared and seasoned, and the portions were generous.

The seats near the "windows" offer a nice view.

Simple daily menu that seems popular in Coimbra. Kind staff carefully plated meal complete with seeds and wide selection of tastes. Nice flavors with selection of fresh ingredients of comfort filling food. Nice lemongrass tea. Upstairs on second floor!

I did not eat in this day because the food being offered was a combination of rice, lentils and cabbage. And the menu costs 11,50€. Which I feel is way too expensive for that. I will try to pass by another day and give another chance.

There are not plenty of options, that’s not the idea. 4 hot plates / 4 salads and one protein. Served with soup and tea. They use only organic ingredients. The dessert (a cake on the day I went) was delicious, fresh, and soft without white sugar.

The restaurant is hard to find, the indoor looks like a school cantina, cold and unfriendly. The food doesn't taste like much, had to put lots of salt and pepper to taste anything. But I appreciate that they serve healthy vegan food even though it wouldn't hurt them to add some spices in their food.

Read moreHowever lately i noticed there's one less option than it used to be, so the choice is a bit more limited. This also applies to the beverage that comes with the menu, which is usually some kind of hot tea, however you can ask for water instead (i think you can also buy separately some cold beverages, like water and beer). Additionally if you arrive late, the food may have run out or you may have to wait some time.

Comida saborosíssima, muito bem equilibrada nos temperos e na escolha dos ingredientes; ementa bem escolhida. O custo foi de 10€ por: uma sopa + um prato principal, incluindo salada + um copo de chá quente. Saí bastante satisfeita e com certeza retornarei tão logo estiver em Coimbra novamente. A única ressalva é que poderia haver uma pequena sobremesa incluída no valor da refeição (como um cookie, uma trufa...)
