yummy and fast tteokbokki - Edit
I had the rose tteokbokki, and it was very good, but I would ask before ordering if this option has dairy in it or not.

Decent food - Edit
Not my favorite tteokbokki but pretty good. I ordered the standard tteokbokki with ramen noodles added, maybe next time I’ll just stick with the classic rice cakes.

Inexpensive, tasty, big portions! - Edit
The staff were very nice and there were more vegan options than I anticipated. I just got the noodle tteokbokki which was a huge portion and very tasty. It is also relatively inexpensive and you order on a kiosk.

Really good vegan options - Edit
This little restaurant is perfect for vegans serving quite a few options (I chose the jjajamyang tteobokki and the fried vermicellis which were really tasty). The portions are huge so if you can’t finish you can take out what’s left. When I arrived at 12:45am on a Sunday it was really calm and not crowded

Vegan/Vegetarian options - Edit
I love tteokbokki and I tried the rose tteobokki here. It was something very different but the flavors were so good! It was the right amount of spicy since I love spicy food and the portion was huge. Can’t wait to try the other options!

Creamy vegan tteokbokki - Edit
Stopped here after having exquisite cake from Veganique. It's just a short walk away. I ordered the rose tteokbokki and chose noodles with a spice level of 2. You can customize your dish by choosing a topping (like mushrooms or green pumpkin) and can also choose how spicy (if at all) you want it. I ordered the rose tteokbokki. It was extremely creamy. They give you a huge portion so I was only able to eat a few bites before getting full (I had milk tea and cake from Veganique prior to coming here).

Full Tteokbokki experience for vegans - Edit
Cow Tteokbokki is a restaurant that serves Korean street food while offering many vegan options!
Read moreHere, also vegans can indulge in modern Tteokbokki creations, deep-fried sides and rice balls.
The vegan food is clearly marked - there's an English, Korean, Chinese and Japanese menu on the machine.
The plant-based alternatives taste surprisingly similar to regular Korean street (junk) food!
The Tteokbokki here are made with thinner and long pieces of Garaetteok plus pasta. You can also add toppings and select the kind of Tteok (rice or wheat-based).
It's easy to overeat here, because food is rather cheap and flavored addictively. A bit sweet, yet spicy and umami, and greasy.

Best vegan tteokbokki I’ve found! - Edit
My partner and I been ordering from Cow Tteokbokki for the last couple of months at least once a week and it’s without a doubt the best vegan tteokbokki we’ve found in Seoul. The rose is my absolute favourite - very creamy but still has lots of spice and flavour. Along with a bunch of their mushroom, kimmari and pumpkin twikim this feels like such an indulgent treat. Highly recommend.

Once of best fusion dishes I have had - Edit
I really did not expect anything from this small place when I met friends here but was instantly happy when I saw they actually had a separate vegan menu, in English. I tried the Rose Tteokbokki, which has both traditional noodles and spaghetti inside. I ordered it spicy. Wow, it was amazing! This was seriously one of the best noodle or pasta dishes I have in Asia. Maybe it was just a good day or I was hungry but it really was so good. Going back again today!
