I came here after seeing pictures and reviews but I was a bit underwhelmed. None of the vegan options on the menu were labelled, which I had expected but unfortunately our waiter seemed quite confused about what was vegan or not. I always feel unsettled in this situation and it makes me have doubts about whether what I’m being served is vegan or not, which is never a fun experience. Fortunately a woman came over (possibly Anita whose restaurant it is, but I’m not sure) while we were talking to the waiter and told us that the Vegetarian Moussaka and the Vege Burger are both vegan, so we ordered those. I don't know if any of the other food on the menu is vegan.
Read moreThe Vegetarian Moussaka was okay. I did eat all of it but I didn't enjoy it that much and I wouldn't have it again. The burger was tasty and the patty had a nice flavour (I think it was sweet potato based) and came with chips. The chips were okay.
That said the location is beautiful - right on the waterfront overlooking the beach and the sea. There are also limited vegan options around this area and as a tourist the prices were cheap (I don't know how they compare to the local area though) so it's not a bad shout, but it's not somewhere I would recommend going out of your way for.
Pros: Burger was decent
Cons: No vegan labelling, Waiter didn’t know what was vegan, Moussaka wasn’t great

Super helpful staff and wonderful setting - Edit
The staff were very helpful and completely understood vegan: the waitress confirmed everything with me after speaking to the chef. I had a vege delight and a couple of the items were exchanged for vegan. Other options on The menu could be veganisd. Beautiful restaurant to watch the sun set too.

Just to update - I returned there a few times and had vegan mousakka and a beautiful mixed vegetable and linguine. Excellent restaurant in Almyrida.

Add vegan options. I asked if the vegetarian burger could be made vegan, and he reluctantly said yes, yet the bun was brioche (not vegan)

Delicious food and friendly chef - Edit
The chef made us feel so welcome! Made the vegan moussaka especially for us although they’d just opened up for the season and didn’t have everything on the menu yet. He later came down to our table to check on us and let us know that he’d gladly make different vegan options if we just gave him a couple of hours notice ☺️🌟👍
