Best burger - we’ll be back - Edit
Stopped in for lunch. I’m always a little skeptical about a place that seems to do it all: smoothies, detox, food, etc. But Comic Veggies was truly a cosmic and happy experience. My bean burger party was tasty and moist and the fixings were essentially a super healthy salad (including sweet red onions and pickles - yum). The “sauce seemed to be a combination of hummus and mashed avocado: a combination that was super tasty and satisfying. They accommodated my request for a greens wrap (they used a giant chard leaf - 😁) and my dining partner’s burger was on an actual whole-grain bun. Yum. Worth my 90-minute drive to get here. We’ll be back.

After reading the reviews, we had great expectations of cosmic veggies. I had the bang-mi, and my husband had the breakfast sandwich. Both were really good, the only downside was the funky potato chips. I would give them 5 stars if they offered a healthy option instead of the non-descript potato chips.

Delicious lunch spot - Edit
Popped in for a late lunch and had a wonderful meal. Between us we had the banh mi, breakfast sandwich and ‘blue cheese’ jalapeño burger. The sandwiches used sourdough which was delicious, my mother in law was less of a fan of the gluten free bun for the burger but great to know the place is coeliac friendly. The cafe had a real community feel, the food was excellent and so were the juices!

I had a black bean burger with jalapeños and vegan blue cheese that tasted beyond umami. It seems magical that the staff can make vegan blue cheese with potato starch. But they nailed the flavor I remember from my omnivore days. Smoothies looked wonderful but I'll have to save them for another day. This place is a surprisingly wonderful find in a small seaside town. A must!

Order at the counter and have a seat and they bring you out the food/drinks. The expansive menu is on a giant wall when you walk in. Tried the kimchi sandwich and also the chili… Very good! Anything in the cooler you can buy and take home or, ask them to heat up and eat in their café. Nice bright café with lots of games, books, puzzles that you can use whilst there. Bread is gluten-free and tasted delicious (I’m fine with gluten and found the bread to be yummy)

I had an excellent jalapeno and blue cheese burger. The flavor was excellent, and the fresh veg added crunch. The Tahini fudge Brownie was also great. Good walnut flavor. The owner provided great service and asked us how we were doing. Overall, the experience was top-notch.

The staff were very warm, friendly, and accommodating. I was concerned about missing my ferry, and the team rallied together to get my order ready in 10 mins. Cute local store. The falafel wrap was very good. So many dessert options!

Glad we had a vegan establishment to dine at.

I really wanted to love this place but the service was lacking and flavors were just okay. Ordered the spicy cheeseburger online, which was super easy, and went to pick it up at the designated time (curbside pickup). Thankfully there was parking right in front on the street (there is no parking lot). I waited in my car but nobody came out. I waited for 10-15 minutes while one worker made smoothies with her back to the counter and the other (who was cleaning) upon seeing me completely ignored me when I wanted to inquire about my order. The place didn’t appear busy but they could’ve had a back up of orders. I don’t mind waiting but ignoring customers is not good. I hate to give mediocre reviews for all vegan eateries so I will try again as maybe this was just an off day. The Bahn mi sandwich does look yummy.

I didn’t see that or even think about it because I chose curbside pickup and put my car details in the order. I guess I should have called. Next time!

Blue cheese jalapeño burger hit the spot! Every bite was delightful. The protein smoothies are rich in flavor and delightful! Only suggestion is to transition to non plastic cups and straws. So happy to have discovered this little place otherwise! Definitely returning for more delicious treats!

Great Taste, Health and Friendly - Edit
I eat at Cosmic veggies at least once a week. It is the only full vegan restaurant in Anacortes. Everything there is fresh and taste fantastic. The portions are huge and can be messy as you pick them up and rush them to your face. The owners are great supporters of everything in the community and I just feel good supporting this business and I feel great eating their food.

Eat in or take out. Limited seating, pleasant vibe. Our group can vouch for the chickpea "tuna" wrap, falafel wrap, veggie wrap, strawberries & cream smoothie. Wraps are on foccaccia rather than tortillas--tasty but a bit messy, especially since fillings are generous. We'd love to have Cosmic Veggies near us in New Mexico!

We were in La Conner for a week and came/ate here three times! We had the falafel wrap, veggie wrap, and “chicken” wrap, the Bahn Mi sandwich, blue cheese jalapeño burger, and a tofu sandwich. The wraps are HUGE. We also splurged on peanut butter chocolate pie and almond cookies. Everything was full of flavor and excellent. And we really got full! We tried two juices too: lemonade and glow. Delicious! Not enough time or room in our bellies for smoothies. It’s such a joy to be able to eat anything off the menu!

Amazing! So many menu and grab and go items to choose from. I got the "tuna" salad that was packaged in the fridge, the Hulk smoothie and cold brew cheesecake - all were so yummy, healthy & totally vegan!
