A small, workers collective health food shop. Sells mostly organic and many vegetarian products. Organic produce, herbs, teas, snacks, packaged food, bulk grains and staples, and more. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-8:00pm.
Picked up some delicious eggless tofu salad for sandwiches and some smoky tempeh fur breakfast tacos along with some other staples. Very sweet spot in a beautiful old church.
An excellent local store that sells high quality items, especially vegan options. Great for tourists who only need a small amount of stuff to get through a trip. But it can get pricey if you choose to make this your number one grocery place for an extended period of time.
Has bread from Fort Bragg Bakery (soooo good!), lots of bulk items, more tea choices than you can imagine (upstairs), and tons of other things! They definitely don’t let the small space limit the variety of products they carry! Great little shop!
This is the best and only option of you want to support small scale and Independent - as well as they only real Vegan and veg friendly place. Like everywhere else in the area it is a little offensively overp[riced on many items - but a good selection of the basic Vgean essentials - plus some great locally produced and unique Vegan food items. Also has a great bulk foods and bulk teas section - basic household goods and half the staff seems happy to be dealing with people.
I was very glad to find this place on my Mendocino jaunt. It had everything I needed and the staff was friendly. The cashier even held up some home grown roses for me to smell. Like every place in Mendocino, it's a bit pricey like going to an island.
It might be hard to imagine how Corners of the Mouth and Harvest co-exist in the same tiny town, but Corners is where you won't find the mass marketed items. The cute building houses a great little selection of just about every item you'd ever need on a Mendocino get-away. Upstairs there is a very extensive selection of herbs.

Great Market - Edit
If you want high quality produce and organic products this is the place. A wonderful bulk herb and medicinal herb collection in the "choir" loft!

Vegan treats - Edit
Tiny little market in an old church. They have the basic you need to prep a meal - produce, dry goods, etc - and lots of vegan baked goods and treats.
