Vegan joy! - Edit
Brilliant selection of cakes and bakes that regularly change. Great prices, friendly service. Savoury items also available but the winners are definitely the cakes.

There are tables for inside and outside dining in nice weather I believe. It was a very quick drive by visit, but the staff were friendly, there were boards with different lunch items and a sign about their afternoon tea. We grabbed an oat milk iced latte with caramel & pumpkin blondie which came to a reasonable price of £6.90.

I visit CK almost every weekend for their yummy vegan treats. The ladies are so lovely and friendly, and their cakes and lunch bits are always amazing!

This was a lovely 100% vegan cafe. We had 2 mochas (so good) and a panini each. The paninis were ok, the cakes/brownies looked fab but didn’t get them this time. Would happily go again - it’s dog friendly too!!

This cafe is lovely. The staff are incredible and every time we visit they go out of their way to make my children feel welcome. They even baked my son a special scone without raisins as he always picks them out. My kids often ask to go there.

I had a sausage sandwich plus a latte for £4, and took a brondie (brownie/blondie) away for £3. Scrummy!

Lots of choice in Morley centre! - Edit
It’s wonderful that Morley now has a fully vegan option for savoury and sweet treats in the centre of town. They have an array of options to choose from such as toasties, pastries, cakes, scones, brownies and hot/cold drinks. The staff are very friendly and they have additional seating.
Read moreI appreciate the choice they have here but the quality could be better - the cakes have often tasted like pure sugar with no other flavouring and the coffee would be nicer if it was a bit thicker, a better quality barista milk alternative.

Cute cafe with delicious Bakewell tarts - Edit
It was great to find a fully vegan café in the little town of Morley! It’s a cute little café in the marketplace on the high street, with an area for ordering food and drinks, and a seating area opposite. The décor is cute and they have a great selection of food and drinks for reasonable prices. We went for the Bakewell Tart, Raspberry & white chocolate blondie, a tea and a caramel oat latte. The blondie was more of a cake than a blondie, as the texture was a lot lighter than I’d expect for a blondie, but it was still tasty and we enjoyed it. The Bakewell tart was delicious and we loved it! My fiancée even said it was the closest thing to a non-vegan bakewell tart that she’s come across, and we’ve tried quite a few! The prices were also fair – we paid £8.80 for the tart, blondie and 2 hot drinks. I’d definitely come back if I was passing through the area.

Delicious Afternoon Tea - Edit
I tried the afternoon tea with my sister as a treat today and it was so nice. £10 pp for unlimited tea, 3 sandwiches each, 2 pastries each, a scone each and 3 cakes each. To say we were full is an understatement. I’ve been ordering baked / cakes from here for a while now and this afternoon tea will be added to my regular purchases. I’d highly recommend it.

I’ve had 2 custom orders and a treat box from Whitney at Compassionate Kitchen and they’ve all been amazing! Such good value for money, great service and most importantly taste amazing! The little shop is a great asset to Morley, a place with very limited options until this came around, and great coffee!
