Excellent yet simple local cuisine

This place was a great surprise in rural Extremadura where interesting veggie food is very difficult to find. They offer multiple vegetarian options, none of which contain fake meat. What they do offer are several naturally vegetarian dishes (and not typical Spanish dishes where the meat has simply been taken out) using locallly sourced ingredients. My favourite was a local dish called "puerro a la dorada"- basically grilled leeks with eggs. It was absolutely delicious and yet so simple. I will defintely return one day

Pros: Good Value, Friendly Staff, Informal atmosphere

Cons: It is better to reserve in advance
