Me Vs Myself

Against my better financial instincts, I just can’t seem to stay away from this admittedly pricey franchise. So it was, that when a realised that this place was in the vicinity, I just couldn’t resist ploughing a significant chunk of my hard-earned cash into some familiar favourites and you know what? I have zero regrets about doing so.
As with the rest of the stores in this chain, this place is tastefully decked out and provides a wonderfully chilled environment in which to enjoy your food; the outside area in particular was a great spot to while away the time with some outstanding people watching opportunities.
As aforementioned, I have become something of a creature of habit when visiting Common Grounds, so I knew before I sat down that I would be getting the avocado fries and the crispy cauliflower. In this instance, they were actually both best iterations that I’ve ever had, the former being especially brilliant. For a point of difference, I opted to have a new main dish, and this took the form of the tandoori wrap. This was a sizeable, well-filled, and tasty offering that I feel just about represented value for money.
Even though I probably shouldn’t, I know that I will return here and, most likely, I’ll end up getting pretty much the same thing - if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

A good amount of options and the food was nice, little pricey

Grabbed some small plates to take out as i had already had food but saw this place did Vegan so grabbed it. Avocado fries and cauli wings, came with 3 sauces all nice, knowledgable in vegan food, menu labelled well and can make amendments to menu items.

Açai bowl

One of the best açai bowls in Dubai.
They have many vegan options on the menu.

Healthy, nutritious and tasty

Sometime I wonder how so many places get Buddha bowls wrong. This place is not one of them. Jam packed bowl full of all the best plant based stuff - sweet potato, kale, avocado, nuts, wild rice. We also had the vegan tacos which were so, so nice, freshly made taco shells too.

Prices seemed comparable to the uk, staff friendly, mega powerful aircon.

Lovely spot

They have many branches, I’ve visited the ones in JBR, JLT and DIFC. All restaurants are cute and the food is very good!
My choices have been: cauliflower wings (my favs), avocado burger (top) and a customized salad bowl (never disappoints)
Ahhhh the soup is really good too, it can vary and not always be the same.

Pros: Cauliflower wings, Quantity-quality , Nice decor

Cons: Delivery (cauli wings)

Reliable chain

Had a kale & broccoli soup and the linguine the other day.
Quality food that is nice to look at but also expensive.
Portions are fair.
Lovely interior with many plants (some of which are fake though).
