Beautiful food, quick service

Extensive menu and the food came quickly despite us being a big group on a busy Friday lunchtime.
I was impressed by how beautiful the food was - it exuded care and attention.
I had the vegan all day breakfast, and an oat hot chocolate, then got some cakes to take home. There was a wide selection of vegan treats on the counter including cinnamon buns, pistachio swirls and brookies!

Pros: Beautifully presented , Quick service , Lots of choice for vegans

Cons: Quite expensive!

Good stuff

Great coffee and truly fresh vegan pastry. It's a shame it's not fully vegan, but extremely dog friendly. Worth supporting.

Pros: Fresh pastry, Good coffee, Super friendly staff

Cons: Not fully vegan 😉

Vegan breakfast / lunch

A nice little cafe for breakfast / brunch / lunch. I went here today and got an iced oat latte with agave, avocado toast and a vegan cinnamon bun. All very good. Friendly staff as well. The patio looks nice for sunny days.

Nice vegetarian cafe

Very nice inside, lots of plants looks so nice and green 🌿🌱🌵. Had the vegan Shwarma which was tasty. Great coffee and nice not to be charged extra for the oat milk.

Pros: Lots of plants, nice and green, Great coffee, Nice decorations

Cons: Could have been more vegan options

Good

Nice place, the dishes are all on the fancier side, so it's not the right place if you want a simple dish. You also can't order alcohol when sitting in the outside sitting area but it was very busy when we got there and we didn't get a place inside

Lovely little vegetarian café

Common Ground is a café near Finsbury Park with very high quality coffee and a whole load of mostly vegetarian food to eat. There were a few vegan items on the menu, and I had the mushroom “shwarma” with my coffee, which was great.

It is quite expensive, but it’s an independent business so you can forgive that. It also has a very strong rustic vibe and beautiful garden, so the price factors into the experience! I was there on a weekday lunchtime, so it was not very busy, but I can imagine it being packed on the weekend.

Pros: Good coffee, Solid vegan options, Great chill environment

Cons: Pretty expensive, Mostly vegetarian, could have more vegan options

Cosy if you can get a spot, offers takeaway too

Offers a couple of savoury as well as sweet vegan options. Laptop free environment. Popular, especially at the weekends with people spilling out of the venue. They do offer take away. A bit pricey, but it is an independent small business worth supporting if possible.

Lovely vegan options but fairly limited choice

The vegan options were very inventive and included eg vegan banh mi, tempeh toasties with vegan cheddar, and other vegan brunchy items. I think there were around 7/8 vegan options, which is good but as a vegetarian / sustainable place you’d think they might do more.

Having said that the toastie I had was delicious and very high quality ingredients.

The whole place is vegetarian and the garden looked lovely for the summer.

Lovely cafe

Lovely cafe that seems to be in high demand as there's often a queue outside. They have quite a few vegan options for savoury food as well as at least two cakes (banana bread and brownie). It's not cheap though, they charge 30p extra to make a drink iced (you'd think it should be cheaper considering its filled with ice cubes) and 40p for oat milk. For an iced matcha latte and an iced latte we paid more than £8 which seems quite steep even for London 😬

Pros: Vegan options , Very instagram-able , Great matcha

Cons: Definitely a bit pricey

Brilliant sandwiches!

I had the nices cauliflower and chilli jam sandwich with nuts, salad, salty bread etc - the way they balanced the flavours of them all made for a really amazing sandwich

Pros: vegan cakes and croissants, often multiple vegan sandwich options

Cons: restaurant does serve eggs and non vegan food
