Wonderful - Edit
Very popular place. We arrived at 14:00 and we had 1 option left of the 3 daily menus. Minutes later that option had also sold out.

Perfect Menu of the day - Edit
We had a nice salad, a big soup and a big main dish. Everything tasted yummy. The waitress had a smile on her face. The full menu was just 9 soles.

Great value for money! - Edit
Local cuisine vegetarian restaurant, possible to make vegan. Massive portion size for 9 soles per person. This includes a soup, small plate of salad and a main dish (which one can choose from 3 options).
Read moreLocal cuisine often includes fried things though, so not the most healthy. But it was a great experience trying out the local cuisine.

Cheap but chaotic - Edit
During lunch (went there early) we could choose between 4 mains. Some were vegan, others not (have to ask the waitress, as mentioned before staff only speaks spanish). Also included a small salad, vegetable soup, desert and drink (tea or refresco). While the locals got offered their drinks automatically we had to ask. They also forgot our main dish and we had to remind them, otherwise we would have waited forever. Place was very crowded and the staff was extremely unorganized. However, still great for the price you pay (still 6 Soles).

Love this place! Cheap, tasty, local, simpático - Edit
I had the menú and asked to make it vegan. You should know some spanish to tell them por favor nada de leche/ queso/…😄I loved the place and only saw local people having lunch. You get a huge amount of good food for only 6 soles! Includes: a drink- refresco or tea, a salad from a buffet, a huge soup and a main course. Best place!!

Nice Almuerzo - Edit
Small typical restaurant with Almuerzo for 6 soles and a small buffet. Really nice food for this price. But just a typical comedor, so don't expect to much. It's just really fair and nice!

Good value lunch - Edit
6 soles for a soup, plate of salad (consisted of boiled vegetables and cucumber), and a main: seitan, tiny pickled side salad, french fries, rice, steak sauce and egg. Really tasty. The place is not fancy or pretty at all, but really good value.

No taste, really hard to eat - Edit
I am not used to write bad reviews to vege places but this was really bad experience. Like a hospital food from your nightmares. Soup was like mudy water with quinoa with zero taste and second one was glumy goulash with rice also really bad. Sorry but this is just a waste of food they use to cook.

Vegetarian with vegan options - Edit
This restaurant has a menu or they will bring you out your meal consisting of a soup, hot tea, and main dish. Vegetarian but you can ask for a vegan version. Very cheap, for six people it came out to 40 soles. We went around 5:30-6:30 pm. Would go again.

Incredible vegan lunch menu - Edit
The lunch menu contains of a vegetable soup, a main course, salad bar, dessert and a home made refreshing drink or mate tea ALL FOR 6 soles each! We asked before and all plates of the menu were vegan so we had a lot of choice (3 main dishes to choose from). The price is incredible in comparison to the amount and portions that you get. It tasted really good! You can also buy vegetarian and vegan products on the selling counter like Moringa powder, tea, carbon for digestion etc. We will definitely come back!

6 PEN vegan 2-course dinner - Edit
For 6 soles each, we got: a very tasty and rich vegetables soup, a plate full of broccoli sote, french fries (more boiled than fried), rice, soy meat and a cup of mint tea. Everything completely vegan, very tasty and filling. Good sized portions. Great place, come and eat here. We ate at 18:30-19:00 evening.

Local, cheap, friendly - Edit
Went to the place which was around the corner from our hotel. It was a very local, authentic vegetarian restaurant. Managed with my broken Spanish to order a vegan meal! The portions were extremely generous. I had the Cubana arroz... it was served with an egg on which I was happy to pick off and eat.

Neighborhood joint serving good cheap food - Edit
This is definitely a hole in the wall kind of place as it was filled with locals seemingly every time we passed by.
Read moreIt's a simple place, VERY inexpensive, about $10 US for the two of us. There is a variety of food and since our Spanish wasn't very good we were able to see what they were making. the soup was really good. There is a waitress there helping out.
Not the kind of place you'd stay a few hours, but it was good, homey, tasty food. We heard that it is owned by a religious group and may keep prices low to enables locals to eat here.
Pros: Good tasty food, Inexpensive, All locals (save us)
Cons: Well, it is not fancy
