How unique! A diner with a multitude of food options for vegans! Was visiting the Battleship NJ in Camden and decided to try the Colonial Diner. So many vegans in South Jersey rave about it. I had a cheese steakless sandwich. It was delicious seitan on a hoagie roll with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. The meal included soup and dessert. Soup was a tomato vegetable and was tasty. We ordered onion rings as well, which was a great for this vegan. My husband had penne pasta with sausage crumbles, peppers, onions and mushrooms. We both ended up with takeout containers from so much food. Dessert was a raspberry cake....perfect. What a treat to be able to have so many options at reasonable prices. It will definitely be our go to place when visiting the area.

My husband had the vegan chicken parm sandwich and I had the tofu avocado quesadilla. The outdoor dining area seemed short staffed and the servers were also busing the tables and running inside and out to deliver the food. The service was a little slow, but our waitress still delivered top notch customer service and the food was outstanding. The quantity of food was generous, plus the meals came with vegan soup and a vegan dessert . We ate way too much, and still went home with more that enough food for at least one more meal, and maybe two! Restaurants are really facing challenges right now, but these folks still delivered outstanding food and good customer service, plus good social distancing. Overall, a great experience.

This diner has the biggest selection of vegan options I have seen in the area! So much to choose from, includes vegan soup or salad & a vegan dessert. Every time I come here, they are so nice & the food is awesome. Never had an issue! Love it!

Even the Chef went Vegan! - Edit
This place was the closest suggested spot on the app to my location at the time. I’m so glad we checked it out! They have an entire Vegan friendly menu! I had the Poutine, which was deliciously out of this world with the homemade BBQ and seiten, and the onion rings were on point. I was even able to be up-sold for a delicious dark chocolate with raspberry Vegan cupcake even though I was full! The onion rings were also on point. It was also a real treat to have VEGAN Taaziki dip!! I look forward to my next trip there.

My boyfriend and I went here, as it’s been our goal to find all of the best places with vegan options in our area this summer. They have a whole page of strictly vegan options with smoothies and loaded fries and all kinds of amazing entrees! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a laid back spot for late at night!

My friend and I just came from there and had the seitan poutine, "cheesesteak" gyro, and the bbq 'beef' sandwich. For desert we had vegan tapioca pudding and strawberry cupcake. They also offered a chipwich and brownie that we did not get.
Read moreThe poutine is enough for 3-4 people. The sandwiches were of good size and very filling. The meals also came with French fries and a cup of cabbage soup. The soup was really tasty and I could have made a meal of it if it were served in a bucket.
My friend had a glass of vegan wine. They have a few varieties of vegan wine.
The server was wonderful, and the person who I believe is the owner was very nice answering our questions.
I am so glad there is a place relatively close by with a variety of good vegan food.

Been here twice since finding out they have vegan options now and love it all!! The whipped cream is so good the smoothies great, the seitan putine is my favorite and I’ve had the cheesesteak hoagie, the beyond burger, the vegan quesadilla and the chimi chimi something lol all of it was really really good. Glad to finally have the option to eat at a diner again!!

We went there with a big group. They were very attentive, one of the owners came out to talk about the stuff they’re working on (breakfast dishes). The food is absolutely great diner food. Their corn bread is delicious, we even asked for some to take home. Meals come with wine, soup and dessert, but they subbed the wine with smoothies for those who wanted. We ended up packing most of our food to take home because it was just too much :-)

New menu with vegan -vegetarian section. Not a huge section but enough to be satisfied. Had the Greek goddess salad with tofu and it was delicious, could have absolutely been made vegan without the parm cheese and a dressing swap out (not 100% sure if the dressing had eggs or dairy but it was delicious)

Classic South Jersey Diner with Veg options - Edit
A friendly waitress greeted me and showed me the Vegan/Vegetarian option page in an extensive diner menu. They had a respectable selection of dedicated veg options, and a menu that can be adapted to veg. I ordered the Vegan Power Bowl and it was awesome! Greek-inspired with quoina base and sautéed and fresh veggies, hummus and pita slices.
