Hmm..

My boyfriend ordered the maccaronis with tomatosauce, but in fact it is only ketchup (very disappointing).
My dish was cashew with vegetable, which was okey.
The staff was not very friendly. And they don‘t have that many vegan options. Price was okey.

Fresh Veggies w/ A View!

I ordered a latte made with coconut milk, which cost me an additional 25 baht. It was so delicious I decided it was worth it! I also ordered pad thai w/o egg and I confirmed that they use oil to fry. My pad thai had many delicious fresh veggies, such as broccoli, carrots, snow peas, and bean sprouts. Coffee Old City has a great ambiance and decor, as well as a wonderful location: right across from Wat Mahathat, so you have a great view of the temple ruins as well.

I returned the next day as well because I knew what to expect here, it’s hard to find a place for food and coffee that opens up before 9am in Ayutthaya, and the fact that they accept credit cards is golden. This time I ordered the fried cashew nuts w/ vegetables and tofu. This dish is served w/ rice (no brown rice available). You can request for any dish to be spicy or not spicy. I went with spicy on this one. The dish is both a little sweet and spicy, made with onions, green & red & yellow bell peppers, carrots, baby corn, cashews, and tofu. The spice really only came when I bit into one of the red chilies, and the spice was nice!

Pros: Many vegan options, Nice ambiance , Great location

Cons: Some items are pricey
