Take-out

A comfortable all-vegan coffee house in the back alleys of Sinchon. Has cakes & cookies, along with a wide variety of plant-based milks for drinks. Seems to be gathering point for nearby students as the tables are well suited to working/studying for long periods of time. It is a plastic-free cafe and your personal cups & tumblers can be stored in the cafe. Dogs are welcome. Please note that parking is a bit difficult. Open Mon-Fri 11:00am-10:00pm, Sat-Sun 12:00pm-10:00pm. Opens 1-9pm on holidays. Last order at 9:30pm.

Cute coffee shop!

I had a difficult time finding this place my first day in Seoul- happy stayed wandering until I found it. Tiramisu is my favorite treat and this is some of the best I’ve ever had!!! Not too sweet, very light cream, so delicious. You can order through a tablet and press English. It’s very easy to navigate and I liked the cozy vibe.

Pros: Vegan tiramisu , Almond milk latte , Zero waste

Good coffee and nice atmosphere

This place is a great spot. Looks like a lot of people go here to study. There is a great selection of plant milks. I tried the oat flat white and lotus cake. The coffee was sooo good. The lotus cake was a bit sickly for me. I shared it with a friend and she had most of it but I loved the texture. I didn't really like the syrup that you can add to it. Wayy too sweet for me. I'll try the tiramasu next time! You order on the little tablet at the counter.

Nice

Cool spot for coffee and dessert. Both cookie and tiramisu were yum and they had a good selection of plant milks for my latte. Chilled for a while getting some work done.

Great place for studying!

I've been here twice now and will definitely come back. I really like their coffee and the cookies as well as the place itself. You can sit down and get some studying/ working done with some chill background music. 😊
I've had the Holstein coffee and another one of their signatures I don't remember the name of anymore and both where very good. Esp. the Holstein! 💕
You order pay over a tablet and just have to get up to collect you order once it's done. The process is really easy and straight forward.

Pros: Great coffee, Nice interior, Good for studying

Study café

Doga has two locations. This one here has more study vibes with a darker interior and nice background music.
The desserts and drinks they offer are the same like in Itaewon. I can highly recommend their coffee (Holstein with sesame and Vienna coffee are the two I had so far). I am a huge fan of their biscoff cake which is more like a semi frozen yoghurt cake with sirup on the side (which is great so you can decide your level of sweetness). When I was there they didn’t accept cash - which is a shame as foreigner. I didn’t enjoy the cookies and Tiramisu (which has nothing except for the look in common with a tiramisu - it’s basically unflavoured whipped cream). That’s why four stars. Lotus cake is great and coffee is great!

I prefer the other location in Itaewon which is bright and sunny (makes studying easier as well;))

Delicious tiramisu

This cafe is great to enjoy a vegan dessert: the tiramisu is creamy, not too sugary with a lot of chocolate powder. Even if it mainly offers coffees, you can find some variety of tea (the lavender is incredible). The only minus is that I find a bit dark so not my favorite place to work if it is not sunny outside

Best Coffee Spot!

I really love this place and I spend a lot of time in here studying. The coffee of Doga Hertiage is the best in Seoul (same in their Itaewon branch) and the desserts are delicious. They have a big variety of drinks and the atmosphere is always nice. The light is a bit dimmed and the music is in the background and relaxing. Overall, the owner is very kind and caring. Feels like home!

Fantastic coffee!

Love the coffee in the place. Also the tiramisu and the cookies are fantastic. Tiramisu is also not that sweet. Location is also nice, industrial vibe with wooden interior. Well located near the EWHA university.

Tastes like toothpaste

This place was really weird to me. I brought my computer to get some studying done, but the tables in the cafe are really high and the seats are really low, so it’s super awkward to sit in. Also, I ordered some “niña” iced tea drink with lemon and applemint, but the mint part is just a syrup that tastes like actual toothpaste. I had to add more water and wait for the ice to melt to actually drink it 😬

Pros: All vegan options

Cons: Menu isn’t very big— not a whole lot of options, Don’t order the iced teas

Dark and cool

This coffee shop is easy to overlook because the name sign is not outside but inside! It's only dimmly lit, too, making it even harder to notice - despite the glass facade!

But inside is a warm coffee shop with a retrofuturistic look, many tables and various kinds of seating.

The menu is completely plant-based, and includes a variety of coffee-based drinks and a few sweet snacks.
(Note that they use oreo cookie crumbs also for decorating certain coffee drinks, in case you don't like the company.)

Their "summer cakes" are frozen desserts and consist of store-bought cookies inside a house-made vegan cream (cashew-based).
Other food items (not available all the time) are bakery items from ASA Vegan.

Personally, I preferred their drinks more than the dessert but I would have to try more in the future. There are classic drinks in veganized form which are made with more effort, e.g. Vienna coffee, hot chocolate (rather hot cocoa!) and flat white.

Staff is friendly, and they currently offer free samples of those plant-based milks that you can see in the fridge (perhaps on sale in the future!).

The atmosphere and the interior of the cafe are cool. There are many students who study here or use it as a dating location. Just by the looks of it, you wouldn't expect this to be an all plant-based cafe!

Great cute little cafe

I love coming here to study - I am here every other day. It's never really crowded, which keeps the vibe low-key. I love their hot chocolate and rooibos tea! #Veganuary

Pros: Great hot chocolate, Cozy vibe

Great find near ewha

Every beverage is vegan. The atmosphere of the cafe is very calm and cozy. It is not that bright inside, but I can feel comfortable.

Calm and beautiful

Hidden cafe with no signs and dark windows. It‘s a great place to study, because the music is not too loud and the seats are comfortable. You can choose between 3 milk options.

Pros: self order system, quiet

Cons: limited food options

Great find!

This place is really in the back alleys of Sinchon and I never would have know about it if not for a friend that studies nearby, This is very much a student hangout, albeit a very nice one. There are no signs outside to let you know this is a vegan business, or really even a cafe at all.

It is a very comfortable set up and very nice place to spend a few hours working or studying, which everyone else were doing when I visited.

The coffee was good with a great selection of plant-based milks. The caramel cake I had was interesting, in a good way. I would have liked more options to eat but they have very few.
