Not Great - Edit
Unfortunately, and I don’t like to say it, I wasn’t impressed with my visit here. The decor is nice and the lady serving was friendly enough. However there were three issues. 1) It was dirty; our table had food on it, there were open sugar/coffee stained salt packets in the little cup (which had food on it and was dirty inside) and there was a hair in my girlfriend’s meal. 2) It was expensive; I’m normally happy to pay a bit extra in an independent cafe but 75p extra for plant milk is, well, just wrong, but also 3) The food was poor; I’m sure the bread, sausage and falafel were straight from a packet. I don’t mind ready made food, but when paying nearly £9 for a breakfast, I expect better quality I’m afraid.
Read moreI will say this though, if the hygiene can be kept on top of, the food replaced with quality products and the charge for plant milk be done away with, this would be a standout establishment.
Pros: Nice staff, Nice decor
Cons: Expensive, Dirty, Packet Food
BrownJam
Was it vegetarian/vegan still? I went just today and it appears to have been taken over by a curry place “Cocoon by Vedaa”?? It’s more of a mixed grill but the signage is the same.

Lovely cafe - Edit
Was initially a bit worried about coming here because of a bad review I read but I thought it was a lovely cafe.
Read moreThe vegan and vegetarian options were clearly separated on the menu and there were plenty of vegan options. We had the vegan all day breakfast, Avocado bagel, and two yummy vegan milkshakes. We were told they had vegan cheesecake and chocolate mousse cake. There were at least 10 different vegan menu items and they had almond, oat, and soya milk for drinks. One complaint is plant milk cost 50p extra which I think is unusual for a vegetarian cafe but apart from that it was great.
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Nice staff
Cons: A little expensive for cafe food

Sorry, but have to be honest - Edit
I really don’t like to leave a negative review, but given HappyCow is mainly fellow vegans and vegetarians, I feel I have to be honest here, as I wish I’d read a review of this place before going.
Read moreThe vegan options are limited and staff don’t seem overly knowledgeable, or even too concerned, on what is and isn’t vegan. I’m pretty certain I was given dairy too, as after over 6 years vegan, I had horrendous ‘stomach issues’ the evening after eating here, which I’ve never had as a vegan and which would suggest I’d consumed dairy products.
Food was poor and expensive, options limited and generally not a good experience, at all. Most definitely would not return and wish I hadn’t given it a try.
Pros: Some vegan options , Great location
Cons: Vegan labelling poor or non existent , Food made me ill , Expensive
