Vegetarian food truck company turned brick & mortar with several outlets throughout the Boston Metro Area. Serves burgers, sandwiches, vegetable platters, fries, daily soup, hot & cold beverages and more. Menu changes by the minute to keep up with daily available produce from farms in New England. For this reason, there is no set or static menu. Most dishes can be made vegan upon request. Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-8:00pm.

Amazing - Edit
Delicious, hearty vegetarian food. It’s also a crowd pleaser for your meat-eating friends and family. I eat here all the time.

it’s alright - Edit
the vegan options weren’t marked on the menu in person which was a little frustrating but not that big of an issue. it also doesn’t say in person what comes on each item which is a bummer. i got the vegan bbq seitan sandwich and while it was good, the seitan was very thickly sliced and had a more rubbery texture rather than a more meaty seitan. the rosemary fries were very good though and it was a big serving! could for sure be shared between two people. the ginger soda was good too. i probably wouldn’t go again, it’s not bad food i just wasn’t impressed.

Cons: vegan options aren’t specified, mediocre seitan

They put dairy in almost everything?! And don't label... - Edit
As a vegan, choosing a vegetarian restaurant is hit and miss. They do not list vegan options. I asked what could be made vegan and they needed to just look up each item one by one. It does not seem like a good policy. They use Just Mayo (vegan) and have Oatly milk for sale. But there's buttermilk in the mushroom batter and who knows what else. I'd rather start with what I can eat than be asked what I would want and they'll see if I can have it. A frustrating experience when I was looking for something simple.

Cons: It is not vegan friendly. Nothing is marked. 🤔, Had to look up every single item.😣, Just really not aware of vegan needs. 😕

Reliably good food in store and great subscriptions - Edit
I love their sandwiches on the run and I also subscribe to their Taco Tuesday delivery. They are friendly and eco-minded in their approach.

Vegans beware - Edit
Delicious food and lots of great options. However, when I went, they were out of vegan mayo - totally understandable. The problem came when I got my sides, one of which is made with mayo. I can’t be sure if it was vegan mayo or not. I had already asked a few questions, had to ask for the pita I had paid for, and questioned the cranberry soda, which lacked flavor compared to the surprisingly amazing sweet potato soda. I wasn’t willing to edge on the side of a Karen. My complaint about the cranberry soda had already been met with an unsatisfactory response - no exchange offered - and my non-veg partner already commented on me complaining. They weren’t busy and by no means was I rude, but the young lady, while friendly, seemed timid and lacked knowledge of the menu items - perhaps she was new to food service and veg*nism.
Read moreI hate to write negative reviews about customer service, but it seemed to be one thing after another in the short 15-30 minutes. I will be avoiding the place going forward despite the great flavor.
Pros: Delicious, Vegan options/subs
Cons: Expensive, Poor customer service

Delicious food and eager to please - Edit
I have eaten Clover Food Labs offerings more than half a dozen times. The food is tasty, nice size portions, and reasonably priced. The staff is eager to please (Newtonville location). I screwed up my order online, totally my fault, and they made good on my order with no extra charge though I deserve to pay for the mistakes. Their coffee barista Clu even offered to buy me a coffee while I waited!
