Cliffe Castle Vegan Menu

Such a lovely free place to visit with beautiful gardens, nice walks, tame wildlife including squirrels that come right up to you, a museum.
We were delighted to see a separate vegan menu with soups, sandwiches, cakes, deserts & proper teas with plastic free tea bags (non of the usual twinnings or ringtons rubbish).
Staff are very friendly throughout the site.
I would have loved to see some full salads & healthier options but it's great to see a full vegan menu & so many people enjoying it.
The only downside to the attraction is there is an avery in one corner with lots of birds but the section with the rabbits & guinea pigs looked small & dirty. The animals just sat there, looking quite miserable & clearly need a larger area.

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Plenty of options , Plastic free tea bags

Cons: Rabbits & guinea pigs looked miserable , Confined, unclean areas for animals
