Serves meat, vegan options available. Indian food with some vegetarian and vegan dishes. Open Mon-Fri 11:00am-2:30pm, 5:00pm-10:00pm, Sat 12:00pm-10:00pm, Sun 12:00pm-9:00pm.
While service was a little slow (they, like most places these days seem under-staffed) everyone was exceptionally kind and very helpful. The menu mentions there are vegan options but they aren't marked so be prepared to ask. Everything was delicious and I will definitely dine here again when I'm in the area.
We were greeted by the owner and let him know our party of two was vegan and we had chosen his place to eat because we heard he spoke vegan. He was delighted to hear this and went through the menu pointing out the vegan options. We ordered the eggplant dish, Chana Masala, Veg samosa and roti. All were excellent, and when the owner served us he proudly shared that even his house made condiments were vegan. I gave him a Happy Cow “Vegan Options” sticker and he put it up on his door as we ate. A very enjoyable experience.
The owners are very personable and will steer you in the right direction when ordering. My parents introduced us to this place when we move back from Ireland where we had great Indian options within walking distance of our house. We ask for it mild here as my mom struggles with the heat if we don’t. The roti is vegan. It is a bit pricey but the portions are large.
This place was so accommodating when I asked for vegan options. They prepared a huge platter of all vegan dishes for me and it was delicious. Also had really great non-vegan options for the rest of my family to enjoy. My 18 month old and 4 year old devoured their food from the buffet. Staff was really nice. Will definitely be back!
My husband and I had a delicious meal. We told AJ the waiter that we heard about the restaurant through happy cow and he immediately offered to make us a vegan platter/thali. It was big enough to share between two but he gave us one each. Very tasty and the service was very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely go there again.
We love the aloo sag and whole wheat roti. The eggplant dish is spicy and delicious, and they always have a few minutes to chat. Baigan bhurtha is the name of the eggplant dish.

decent Indian food, helpful staff - Edit
They have the usual vegan Indian options, it's tasty but didn't blow me away. Still my go-to place for Indian food in Frederick.
