But they deserve less. Multiple times being there over the last decade. They are always slow service no matter what time of day you show up. It’s like “hip” to have [censored] servers who are rude to you after your long wait at the door and could care less about being there. The food itself is overpriced and nothing worth remembering. Watercourse was way better but is starting to fall into the same issues as city o. You can always find cooks and servers smoking cigarettes behind the building so if you enjoy smells of smoke while eating. Please come by

Read moreI have so many times justified City O City as having “ great food despite the service “, and they do have delicious food - but the service is SO poor and it’s just unacceptable.
After a handful of horrible operational/customer service experiences over the past year including 45 min wait times OVER when they said food would be ready (several times), not receiving all of our take out order numerous times and more WHILE being charged an extra 20% built in gratuity fee....We will no longer be supporting them.
Do better City O City!

This place is 98% vegan. The only animal bi-product they serve is cheese for the pizza but they have vegan cheese too that is super delicious.

The Worst Service - Edit
This place has terrible service. When I walk in, no one even acknowledges my presence. I've been there a few times now because it's right down the street from where I work and this has happened every time. When I sat down at the bar with my friend, we weren't even asked if we wanted a drink for 40 minutes. Once we finally ordered, we still didn't receive a drink for 20 minutes and at that point we just had to walk out. The service has been consistently horrible and they're prices are not cheap to provide such crap service. As well as, adding an extra 20% service charge to my bill which doesn't include tip for my server. At that point, raise your prices so you can pay people instead of pissing on my head and calling it rain. I've worked in hospitality and the service industry for years and this is one of the worst places to go.

Found this place by accident just looking for a drink and found out it was almost completely vegan! It was so surprising, in a good way, it made my whole mood so much happier! I had the vegan pizza rolls and they were delicious! The cocktails were also good and use some local spirits! Definitely recommend😄

Delicious food! Highly recommend the bbq tofu Mac and cheese wrap. The Salads are big and filling. Creative menu! Didn’t like the seitan wings, way too greasy and bread like...like crunchy bread soaked in oil...the bbq and Buffalo sauces were so good though! Tofu is an option for the wings too, and so good!

We had such a fantastic experience here! One of the best salads I’ve ever had! The poutine fries with the house-made cheese were amazing, too! The service was top-notch, everyone was super-friendly, and we really appreciated the extra steps they are taking for Covid safety.

Not a ton of vegan restaurants in Denver so City O' City was a breath of fresh air. While not fully vegan they do offer many vegan options. We had a delicious meal and great service. Couldn't ask for more!

City o City is under the same ownership of all-vegan Watercourse. 95% of the menu at City o City is vegan (the rest is vegetarian), a few of the same dishes as Watercourse, but they seem to just be made even better here. 25% off their delish pizzas on Wednesdays, and all-vegan Make Believe Bakery is right next door for dessert.

One of my favorite hip-hop musicians, Sole, mentioned City-O-City by name in at least one of his songs, so I knew I had to check this place out. I got the chicken and waffles, and it was great to see cauliflower and carrots used so effectively as analog replacements for chicken and bacon (respectively). The staff were also really nice and the whole place had a great vibe!
