Incredible food options. It is vegetarian but everything can be made vegan. The staff were incredibly helpful and the food was amazing. I had the waffle sliders, and my s/o had the hash bowl. We shared banana bread French toast. I 10:10 recommend

Wished we had this back home! Such creative dishes and oh so good! I had the cauliflower tacos and the sauce and combo was perfect. Also brought my non-veg family who all enjoyed their meal! Tasted one of their warm brussel sprout salads and it was great!

Don't miss this one! - Edit
Everytime I visit Denver, I HAVE to visit City O' City. There are so many vegan options in Denver it can be hard to choose, but don't skip this one! Everything is amazing. You won't regret what you order, but if you're only in town a few days, go twice. Once for brunch and another time for lunch or dinner. WORTH IT!

Excellent Food - Edit
I love how many vegan options there are! My food was great! My service this time wasn’t that great and I ended up having to pay $7 to park. It ended up being a delicious and expensive lunch with subpar service which isn’t what you want with a hunger toddler as your lunch date. My service before was very impressive.

Solid veggie option downtown - Edit
I like City O' City quite a bit. The food is always super satisfying with generous portion sizes. The menu is vast - I have yet to try even a fraction of the options. The breakfast section is particularly tasty. However, because it's not 100% vegan (half vegan, half dairy and eggs), I can't give it five stars. Just go vegan already! Also, I'm not a huge fan of the grunge aesthetic they're going for inside the restaurant (graffiti, dim lighting, loud rock, etc). But that's more of a personal preference than anything.

Tied with Watercourse for best vegan in Denver!! - Edit
Another incredible vegan/vegetarian spot in Denver! BBQ seitan wings were better than any meat I’ve ever had and the pumpkin curry penne pasta was perfectly prepared as well with just a little kick to make sure you keep drinking your water!
Read moreThe ambiance is great - sort of a blend between a restaurant and a coffee shop or cafe. Staff is very friendly and the wait was reasonable considering how busy it was on Easter Sunday. Prices are a little high but I have to admit it was worth it! Vegan/vegetarian or not, you have to try this place!
Pros: Loads of options - mostly comfort, some wholesome, Cool atmosphere , Excellent taste!
Cons: A little too expensive , Very busy (which is kind of a good thing)

Worth the drive downtown. Food is BOMB. 💯 - Edit
I travel a lot for work (federal government) and was in Lakewood this week for training. This joint was definitely on my radar but wasn’t sure if I wanted to fight traffic and try and find parking in an unfamiliar area. SO GLAD I WENT FOR IT! The restaurant has ambiance, ample seating (with outdoor patio and bar service), and some of the BEST customer service I’ve gotten at any restaurant as of late. Shane (or Shawn?) was my server and he was friendly, helpful, and prompt. Yes, the food is as good as the other reviews state. I had the carrot soup, BBQ bowl (subbed buffalo seitan at server’s recommendation) and a pizza to-go (next day’s lunch). I WILL be returning every time I’m in Denver. THANK YOU!

Vegan chicken and waffles. My only complaint is the waffles are a bit large and dry. But I would always opt for pancakes over waffles if there was an option.

Love This Menu - Edit
INCREDIBLE food. Make sure you order vegan-specific on some items that are vegetarian, if you need to. While the main courses blow me away, some of the desserts are a little lackluster for me, personally... but they're always beautifully presented. Love the vibe in here, friendly staff and bartenders. Worth the occasional parking hassle!

VEGAN OPTIONS! - Edit
I went 2 years ago for their Apricot Kimchi torta and it was amazing! Unfortunately there was not enough demand so they removed it 😰. Also, the takeout orders guy from last June was very rude, everyone else was great though!

Best Vegan Option in Denver is a Vegetarian Restaurant - Edit
Can’t believe I haven’t posted a review before! City O is the best vegan/vegetarian dining experience in Denver imo. I say this because of the variety of options, price point (not cheap but reasonable for a night out), quality, and atmosphere, to name a few. The seitan wings and vegan poutine are so addictive that I dream of them, and there is a full espresso bar and alcohol bar which are both very good. There are options for the “healthy” vegans (tasty salads and the like) as well as not-so-healthy vegans like myself and my boyfriend (lots of comfort food). It’s also great to have a late night spot that serves food I can eat after I get off work when most other places are closed. I have to say this because my boyfriend complains every time we go though— it is a damn SHAME that they changed the all day breakfast sandwich, it’s still labeled as such but it’s definitely not comfort food like it used to be. And it was probably our favorite thing on the menu before the change. That doesn’t remove a star from this review, but my boyfriend and others might—just for that. Anyways, thank you for existing City O City!
Read morePros: Almost everything can be made vegan or is already, The vegan ranch, poutine, and seitan, Open late!
Cons: Expensive for casual dining, Vegetarian not vegan, What happened to the breakfast sandwich???
