The street the cafe is located in is very beautiful and you can sit comfortably inside and outside.

Unfortunately we were quite disappointed. The good thing first: The location is very nice and the cafe is also cozy inside.
Read moreUnfortunately the staff weren't friendly at all (with the exception of one waiter who was very nice). No greeting, annoyed reactions, actually as if you were intruding.
The food was also disappointing: the smoothie bowl actually only consisted of peanut butter and banana. I like both, but not in quantity without a different taste. The falafel bowl was bland and dry. Therefore, clearly not a recommendation from us.

The waiters are really nice and they can make arrangement to veganize your dishes. I had a tofu avocado rice and spinach bowl in remplacement of an egg avocado rice and spinach bowl and it was delicious (the tofu was nicely cooked). And the place is really cosy. The beet juice was insane !

Bistro at the Citycenter with modern and kind of stylish athmosphere. They have some (4) vegan and vegetarian (5 to 6) options. The food was fresh and healthy but not very exciting. Salad and Bowl could need a lot more dressing, pumpkin seeds could be roasted, next time we should go for the sweet stuff, because that seemed to be awesome. The fresh Juice was super tasty a the waiters very friendly.

English menus available, which is super helpful. Clearly marked vegan food and drinks options. Matcha lattes, oat and soy milk, tofu based snacks and acai bowls. I had the peanut butter and banana acai bowl and a Matcha latte with oat milk, both were lovely and not too expensive!

As opções vegetais estão assinaladas, sendo muito poucas. Escolhi a tosta de tofu por ter uma combinação apelativa. Recebi uma porção generosa, acompanhada por chips de batata doce, mas fiquei desapontada assim que provei: basicamente não tinha tempero nenhum. O tofu, então, estava completamente sensaborão. Não pude deixar de pensar "Nem acredito que paguei 6€ por esta tosta".

Vegan options are clearly labeled in the menu but it's too little of them. In one visit you can try everything.
Read moreThe food is simple in a bad way. The vegan burger patty is rather tasteless, if you take the toast, be prepared for literally: spinach, tomato and tofu in between two breads. You get it all served with cold potato chips, seriously? Don't even let me start with the quinoa bowl 😴. Good for people who like the taste of raw spinach on it's own.
Surprisingly the space and staff feel really good, I like their wooden floor on the second floor. But be prepared for some positivity terror from the slogans on the walls. Live Laugh Love! Welcome to the every second "healthy" coffe place of 21st century.

The staff didn’t seem to want to spend time to tell us what was vegan on the menu, waving us away with a vague ‘it’s on there’. Actually it wasn’t at all clear. The staff seemed muddled too about what was and what was not vegan.
Read moreThe food was pretty average - a burger was ok but didn’t taste of much. But the vegan pasta salad with grain was not good value, really didn’t taste of anything at all, nor was it filling. It was crying out for a good vinaigrette.
All in all, very disappointing.

Einfach aber nett eingerichtetes Café direkt am Marktplatz von Caldas da Rainha. Sehr nettes Personal. Wir hatten eine vegane Smoothie Bowl mit Mandelbutter und ein veganes Toast mit Tofu und dem göttlichen portugiesischen Weißbrot zum Frühstück. Sehr lecker! Preise sind in Ordnung.

The vegan and vegetarian options are well marked in the menu, just missing the vegetable milk options for the smoothies. This can be an option if requested.
The staff was very nice and the prices seen reasonable.

I ate here a couple of times in June 2019. The prices were quite good and so was the food. One day I had a wrap and another day I had a salad. I thought the wrap was better than the salad for some reason but they were both okay. There's a few outdoor tables plus an inside dining area on the ground floor and the upper floor.

Very cute cafe with two floors, lovely mint-colored interior, and cozy atmosphere. Food is super cheap - I had the chickpeas burger, Coke, and oat milk cappuccino for a bit less than 10 euro. The burger was delicious, but on the menu it was listed that it comes with sweet potato fries... and that wasn't the case. When we asked the waiter, he said that they were out of sweet potatoes and we have to wait quite a long time until they restock. The side wasn't a problem, but please notify your customers at the moment they're ordering their food. Otherwise everything was great.
