Serves meat, vegan options available. Indian restaurant at the hotel. Open Mon-Sun 12:00pm-2:30pm, Mon-Thu 7:00pm-11:00pm, Fri-Sat 7:00pm-12:00am, Sun 7:00pm-11:00pm.
We go to Cinnamon Grand a lot to eat. Menu is traditional Indian so loads of veg options and I always just check it's done with oil and not ghee. Staff are very friendly and it's never a hassle to ask whats in the dishes,
Chutneys is situated in the 5 star hotel Cinnamon Grand
It is a lavishly decorated hotel and restaurant, teeming with staff
About half the menu was vegetarian, offering choices from most of the different states in India
Imho the starters were better than the mains - we had deep fried cauliflowers and chilli paneer, both of which were awesome
The three curries we had for dinner were good, but somehow lacking.
However this was more than made up for by the very nice waiter who looked after us, bringing a special spicy sambol as we had told him we liked things hot, also bringing some curd when that proved too spicy for one of us!
Add an amazing wine list (14 pages of it) and Chutneys is well worth it for a blow out meal
