Excellent food and drinks - Edit
We came here without resevation, got a table luckily. Ordered, the artichoke, Reuben sandwich and truffle pizza. All of which was excellent and went well with the espresso martini and cucumber gin cocktail.

Good food.. - Edit
..but one of the servant served a dish with gluten to one of my friends when though she asked for non gluten.
Read moreSome of the dishes and desserts was sold out so a few of us wasn’t able to order what we wanted because they told us after we did or order.
Nice food, but I think their buffet is more worthy than order from their menu during dinner. The restaurant becomes a “night club” later in the evening.
So, the food was good but everything else was kind of naaah

Such great food, lots of options, buffet and a la carte! The staff is so nice and they’ve marked allergies very clear on all their dishes! Can’t count how many times we’ve been here and we will definitely come back many times ahead!

The best lunch buffet I've been to so far - Edit
This is seriously the best vegan restaurant I've been to. I've only had the lunch buffet, but I would like to have dinner there sometime as well. They have a lot of different beverage options, which also is a plus. (And I saw Gustav himself there and got a bit starstruck)

Fanciest Vegan Restaurant I've Been To - Edit
We decided to go here one night, knowing nothing but its name. We didn't really have any expectations but as we walked through the terrace into the restaurant itself I couldn't help but think "This is a mistake, this place is way too fancy for a vegan restaurant". My biases aside, the first thing you'll notice when you walk in (we were there at night with all the moody lighting) is just how lush everything is.
Read moreThe menu is large and excellent. There is an option for a buffet, which I would try the next time I am here, but I went for items off the menu. I had the caviar with toast, the meatballs, and an ice cream cookie sandwich. It was nice to have classic Swedish items like the caviar and meatballs and by goodness they were good.
It is definitely a bit more expensive than your average vegan restaurant but it certainly is worth it. The caviar was just so good and the meatballs were perfect, and it was lovely to have Sweden's favourite lingonberries to accompany them. My only criticism would be with the cookie sandwich. Was it delicious? Yes. Was it difficult to eat? Also yes. You can't cut it and can't really eat it like a sandwich so while lovely, it's a bit awkward.
I'd recommend for a nice fancy dinner. You can also hang out in the terrace bar after, if that floats your boat.

Great first meal in Stockholm - Edit
I recently went to Stockholm for a business trip and stopped here for lunch immediately after getting off the plane. The server was so friendly - especially with our dismal attempts at Swedish. All the food was delicious, but the mushrooms and potatoes were especially great. Even my non-vegetarian coworker loved it! Pretty good price for a full buffet, and the rooftop patio is beautiful.

Inside a shopping mall - Edit
This is a restaurant on the top floor of a shopping mal. People are passing by with their shopping bags.the escalator is going right through the “ guest room “ if you don’t mind that kind of food court atmosphere it is a great place to eat! The buffet looked fantastic. We weren’t that hungry, so we ordered pizza, alcohol free wine and creme brule’. Everything was great. Its more a place to visit after work or for taking a break from sightseeing, but over all very pleasant.

Very good, has potential to become even better - Edit
I can’t give it 5, just because it’s all vegan. I like Gustav a lot, and he has done a good job with this redtaurant. But, with a lot of the dishes, i feel I could have made them a lot better, with just some basic balancing in sweetness, saltyness and sourness, and Umami.
Read moreI miss that extra ”touch”. As a whole, it’s a nice buffet, with lots of interesting flavours and combinations. Much better than ”Hermans” for example, in quality snd texture.
But a lot of basic final touches is missing.
Take the thai stew for example. It is so bland. Couldn’t even finish it.
I would still recommend this place, to anybody. There’s something for everyone to enjoy. The salads and the hummus are my favorites as for now.
Has great potential to reach higher.😄
Pros: Everything is vegan, The salads, The hummus
Cons: The Thai-stew in the warm section. Tastless, Many dishes miss some basics.

what a great place! - Edit
the food is exceptional and completely vegan. but the best part was the head chef (fabian), who was so kind and friendly to us after having been on an odyssey of not finding vegan restaurants late at night (we just had arrived in stockholm). he gave us a variety of different food from the buffet (which was already closed) to take with us. it was so delicious, so we came back the next day for the full buffet experience, which was even better. there were so many delicacies we tried out while sitting on the wonderful roof-deck and we even took more to go (for dinner). the bœuf bourguignon was incredible – i don't know how to live without it!

Delicious - Edit
It was buffet, and that was great because I wanted to try everything! At first I thought it was hard to find because the door from the street had a small sign for it and we half to walk up three sketchy flights, but turns out we came in the back way! It’s accessed through the mall.

Cool, cozy and crazy good! - Edit
Chouchou is a new shining star, and something that Stockholm and the world needs more of in my opinion; cool, atmospheric, cozy and slightly upscale restaurants.
Read moreLocated in the hip MOOD Galleria, the decoration and lighting is amazing. There are colorful, pretty, plastic flowers all around. The background music was chill pop, which I really liked. One song that was played was the lovely Sukiyaki by Kyu Sakamoto.
I decided to get the buffet (269 SEK) as I wanted to try as much as possible. I tried nearly everything and it was all delicious, especially the skagenröra. Compared to Hermans the focus of this buffet is much more on veganizing traditional dishes.
The service was impeccable and I had a great experience. Great job "Jävligt Gott"-Gustav! I'll be back for more!

A bit pricey but totally worth it! Like that they offer half portions, so you can have a starter and be able to fish your main. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a table on a Friday evening, but would recommend to make a reservation, just to be sure.

Vegan heaven - Edit
Chouchou is a fantastic vegan place, the buffet has so many options that everyone is sure to find something they like. While the weekday lunch buffet us a great deal, the buffet is a bit pricey imo if you go when it's full price for only being maybe 1-2 dishes more. I have not yet tried anything from their à la carte menu, nor the brunch buffet. But will go back to try both and update.

Stylish, but also friendly and nice - Edit
This is an absolutely great restaurant. Very young and hip and urban, good hours, plenty of liquor choices and, all in all, a real restaurant/bar/hipster scene. Food is real good -- definitely try the Swedish meatballs (vegan of course). Beyond all this, though, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We arrived late after the kitchen was closed. We don't eat in non-vegetarian restaurants, so we were looking at getting no dinner after a long day. A staffer stepped forward and said, "we can do this," and put together a great dinner for us. Also, because we were late, we watched the kitchen getting cleaned up. These guys were super serious about everything being spotless! Of course, we went back for more -- the second time during regular hours, and everything was even better. Highly recommend.
