One Bad Option - Edit
I went to this place on three different occasions because they have a sign out front that advertises vegan options. All three times I went, they had no vegan options. I went a fourth time, and they had one vegan option. It was terrible. It tasted like metallic baking powder. I couldn’t eat it and ended up throwing it away because it was inedible. Very sad.

I would have liked you to be satisfied that small structures which offer fresh homemade and 100% gluten-free products offer Vegan options. It’s a difficult sector and comments like yours could make you want to quit such a difficult profession. You may forget that we have to work just in time, we don't freeze anything and it is difficult to predict with current conditions. Today, for example, is a day where there are soft chocolates with a creamy passion fruit topped with vegetable cream, everything is gluten-free and Vegan. We also have Verlan caramelized apple crumbles, Vegan pecan cookies and chocolate brownies. Don’t hesitate to stop by and taste them, they are very popular. Don't forget that hard-working small business owners need to be encouraged, and know that we are constantly questioning ourselves to improve. If you want to see our new products that come out regularly, I'll let you look at our Instagram @choopyscoffeeshop. See you soon.

Very limited vegan options - Edit
The vegan options consist of the same ingredients used in a salad or a wrap or a bagel. There is also a muesli option. That’s the extent of their vegan options. Maybe vary them a bit for each item? I got an americano and a vegan bagel. When the plate arrived the salad had feta cheese on it. I asked if it was vegan, as there are heaps of vegan cheese options but it wasn’t. The server apologised and brought us new plates. My partner got the wrap. It was fine. But it wasn’t amazing and it was expensive (can of coke €4). I’d recommend checking out somewhere else.

We are not a Vegan restaurant, and I do not claim to be that. We offer 100% of our pastries gluten-free and offer vegan options without going as far as a Vegan menu. We offer 4 gluten-free and Vegan pastries per day. Instead, I suggest you congratulate the small artisans who work on the quality of their products on a daily basis and who offer you fresh, homemade products.

Nope at JClaude you advertise on your board that you have vegan options. You certainly didn’t have that many options. I’d remove it from advertising but this is so other vegans know what to expect.

Nice coffee shop in old town Antibes - Edit
We have tried several of their bubble tea, not the best we had but they’re good. Their bakeries are really yummy.

Cosy place but limited vegan options - Edit
Nice setting and friendly people working there. It's a good place to go for a coffee with friends.
Read moreThe vegan food option is just a wrap with hummus, while good it will get tiring real quick. They do have vegan cupcakes and cookies that are great, however, on several occasions those were not available.
When I had the vegan bagel they accidentally served the side salad with feta cheese so pay attention.

Don’t bother - Edit
We have tried 3 times and they never have anything vegan despite claiming to offer vegan cakes etc. The true extent of their vegan offering is a slither of houmous with some carrot and ice berg lettuce on a ‘bagel’ (not truly a bagel) or a wrap. Not worth it!

I am terrified by your comment. We are a small company and I guarantee a very large choice of gluten-free cakes and pastries, in addition we offer Vegan options for customers who wish it? We do not claim Vegan restaurant status and I did not ask to be in this guide. You are used to going to 100% Vegan restaurants, continue to go there, but please respect the work of small merchants who make daily efforts to guarantee fresh, homemade products to their customers.

This review was 3 years ago… and this is an app for helping vegans find vegan food. Choopys in my experience was not reliable for vegan options. It was always ‘pas disponible’. That is my experience and truth. Thanks

Cozy Cafe with Increasing Vegan Options - Edit
Choopys, always cozy with friendly staff is increasing their vegan options. In addition to the vegan bagel, wrap, salad smoothie, and breakfast bowl, they have added vegan cupcakes and brownies (which sell out quick). While very busy over lunch, you can find a quiet spot in between rush hour. Coffees are always good with almond and soy milk options.

Happy this little cafe exists - Edit
Cosy café in Old Antibes with excellent service provided by the young couple who are the owners. English spoken (indeed, this place is popular with the anglo crowd). Choopy's has a vegan bagel (with accompanying salad), smoothies and soy milk for beverages. I heard they were working on vegan cupcakes - hope the rumours are true!
