Decent food, not very clean - Edit
We visited the Upper East Side location. It’s in a bit of a sketchy area and although it looks like there’s parking next to the building, we were run off by the owner of the neighboring restaurant... This place is street parking only. The food was pretty good. I had a burger which was decent, and my husband said his tacos were great. The place wasn’t very clean, though, and the bathroom was a mess. The prices are also pretty high given the iffy location and lack of ambiance. I wouldn’t go back.

Choices or Lack Thereof - Edit
We visited the 79th Street location about three times. We really wanted to support a vegan restaurant (I'm a vegan), but it was really disappointing. The cashiers are neither professional nor helpful and seem to have never worked there at all. The food tastes bland or "watery" to say the least (patty, wrap, pixsa) and looks carelessly prepared. The tables were dirty and the pricing excessive considering all I've said. Overrated and overpriced. When these things happen, I can't help but think that veganism has become a trend that lots of people have jumped on in order to make a buck and done so in a clueless manner. Veganism is not a self-inflicted punishment and the majority of us are discerning eaters who happen to eat plant-based food.

Choices Café - Edit
Man, I really wanted to love Choices Café, but I was really disappointed. We visited the 79th Street location.
Read moreParking: There are two parking spots out front as well as street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
The first night we greeted by a nice gentleman who was eager to serve us. There was a good variety of meals to choose from so we ordered some different dishes to share. The food was good and we wanted to visit again. We came back from breakfast and ordered The Kind Slam, Breakfast Scramble and some smoothies. The pancakes were burnt, and the scramble was ok. We visited for the final time for dinner and ordered to go. This was the worst of our experience. When we arrived at our hotel and opened our to go boxes, we realized that the kids meal only had 2 Gardein overcooked, hard chicken strips. My husbands meal was incorrect and I my meal (the Karma Burger and Baked Fries) was cold (we stayed 2 minutes from the restaurant). It was at that moment when we agreed that we would not return.
We very much wanted to support this place, but each time we visited, things went downhill.

What a find! - Edit
Fantastic!! I've had this on my radar for a while and when I came to Miami for a couple of days decided to try it. Extremely clean and a very innovative menu… Terrific food all around. I do not understand why people are complaining in other reviews about prices. The quality of food is very commensurate with the price. A must try!!

Rocked my world! - Edit
For such quality dishes, the price is right. I had a wonderful breakfast experience with my family. We got the tres 'cakes, breakfast burrito, and breakfast scramble. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and eager to accommodate. I'd recommend 10/10. Hoping to go back soon.

Good food, not so great prices - Edit
Although they have options for under $10 the majority of the menu, as well as the desserts are VERY expensive! I went to the 79th street location for the first time yesterday and ordered the karma burger but was told they were out of fries (which comes with it for $15) so I subbed what was supposed to be garlic ginger rice (tasted like plain brown rice, no seasoning no nothing). I spotted pumpkin cheesecake out of the corner of my eye and before leaving ordered a slice... an $11 slice O_o; although it was delicious the price was outrageous. Overall I enjoyed Choices Cafe but since I live in Palm Beach County unless I have to be in the area for something I wouldn't drive down just to go

overpriced overrated - Edit
I've been wanting to go to Choices for quite sometime now and I'm sad to say that my husband and I were both disappointed! We got a paper menu at the entrance to see their options and got a little confused with the menu. So we came to the cashier and said it was our first time and asked us to help with the menu... She had no energy to explain anything at all! So I asked which of the two were better (Lentil Biggie Burger or Karma Burger) and she said the Karma burger came with fries but once again that difference I could read and I was really looking for an insight and suggestions... Anyway, we ordered both (one for me and one for my husband) and we asked about desserts which ones were nicer and she replied "I don't know, I don't like sweets"... Lady WTF! Eating vegan and organic you should have more energy in your miserable life! Anyway, with no sale skills we end up getting the lime tart and walnut brownie just because is so hard to find vegan dessert. So two burgers and two desserts came to $43.17... I asked how much was the Sipp soda and she replied $2.95 and I'm aware that many places sell them for $2.50 so no drinks for us... Once the food came, the patty on both burgers were the same but the difference was that one had only cheese and the other had avocado, tomato and tempeh... She could have told me that I was ordering pretty much the same thing!!! The lentil patty tasted like garlic and beets and that was it!!! The "baked" fries were burned on top and some not fully cooked! The lime tart was the ONLY good thing here! I wish I could rate 1 star but the app doesn't allow less than 2 stars! I'm sorry but Choices never again and I'm sad because we are vegans and always support places like this but this one is not worthy... Very disappointed :(

We All Have Choices - Edit
I love Miami's Choices Cafe but $20 for the California wrap (tofu, black beans, quinoa, avocado, onions, etc) and $11 for a smoothie is insane! How will you cater to both middle income and low income with such prices? I can understand if this were fine dining like Sublime in Ft Lauderdale, but it's not. It's semi fast-food. The same type of wrap at Green Bar was $8 less. The foods are awesome and there are cheaper options, but expect to walk away with a bill over $75 for a family of four.

Great Find! - Edit
We were on our way out of Miami and this place came up on a search for vegan places in the area. Great find! I really enjoyed the wrap with soy chorizo. My father, a non-vegan, liked the pancakes. I would eat here again if in the area.

A great place - Edit
The food is delicious at this cafe. They have a lot of amazing wraps and sandwiches especially and all are huge and delicious. The desserts also are huge and the ones we tasted were amazing. They have alcohol, but they also have lots of fresh veggies and healthy options. It has a casual, fast food kind of vibe, not a fancy place, but the service was great.

Great vegan restaurant and friendly service. Also serves great pancakes for breakfast. They could be more consistent with their baked goods offerings. My only real complaint is the price. Too expensive.

First Visit - Edit
I was visiting from NC on business and my client took me here for lunch. I had the lunch special which was a cashew dish and soup. It was excellent! We also had the cheesecake which was awesome. I met the owner and her daughter. Very polite, friendly and accommodating. Would definitely go out of my way to visit again when in the area.

The Best Vegan Food in Miami - Edit
Choices is the best vegan food in Miami, possibly all of South Florida. Get anything with their signature lentil meat and you won't be sorry. They incorporate dishes with soyrizo to beyond meat to gardein for your non-vegan friends and they also offer some great salads, smoothies and juices for those looking to simply eat health. It's all vegan and all organic. Look for their new location in the airport coming soon!

Worth the trip - Edit
My family and I came from about an hour north of the restaurant and eating there was definitely worth the trip! I literally could not stop smiling while driving home. The pizza, the Gentle Lentil burger in the collard green wrap, the Simran burger, the Kale Quinoa soup, the Coco-Berry smoothie, the Tropical Breeze smoothie, and the walnut brownie: ALL amazing. I loved everything, and the owner and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and motivated and provided an unparalleled level of service. Wherever you may happen to be in South Florida, I really recommend stopping by, as the cuisine at this restaurant is truly special. Happy belly, happy man! And I am definitely a happy man.

so happy there is a part 2 - Edit
I love coming to this place I'm so happy they finally branched out and got another location. The food is amazing the services quake and you won't regret it. Everything is vegan and organic so if the price is too much for you just remember that. Their desserts are all delicious and flavorful made from natural ingredients. My favorite dish there is the chickens friend and I love it I get it and every time I go. This place is definitely somewhere you need to stop.
