The vegan pancakes with banana weren't on the menu, but they made them for us anyway. The vegetable sandwich was also good. The manner of the owner is very direct, but I feel this is due to lack of confidence in English, and the negative reviews here could be due to that, and also people not following Japanese customs (for example, someone came in for take away when we were there and started wandering around the cafe, and then we're not happy with the owners tone)

Cute little vegan cafe with delicious organic coffee and tea. They also have vegan cakes and ice cream. Prices are fair for the area.

Downside that we had to order a set with drink in order to sit inside, or else it was only take out

Cute, comfy little spot for coffee and sweets - Edit
We stepped in here on a rainy day on our way to start the Philosopher’s Path. We got a veggie sandwich, rum raisin banana pancakes (contains peanut butter and walnuts), 2 coffees and an AMAZING soy soft serve ice cream float, all vegan. It is delightfully high quality food in an area of the city no one seemed to be in at 1 in the afternoon.
Read moreThe soft serve float comes served on top of cubes of frozen fruit and alongside a bottle of soda water you pour in yourself. It was so delicious and refreshing just before a long walk. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try.

i only tried the coffee but i was so surprised to see a vegan option and vegan cake opinion on the menu! the coffee is organic and the price is fair too and it was tasty as well c: (i wasn’t hungry today so i didn’t try either but i’m gonna go there again in the future to try!)

English menu available, though I haven't found vegan pancakes or ice cream in it (which are advertised on signs outside). I ordered a cake and some ice cream. Cake was great. Ice cream was ok, but enough to satisfy my craving.

A cosy little cafe in a traditional neighborhood - Edit
I had the banana cake which was amazing. My girlfriend had the pancakes, which were just as impressive. Both came with an incredible vegan ice cream. Location is a bit far from center but it's worth it.
